Not another season of the same matching tiles and ridiculously lame story, not another limit break or exploitation of power level but something new, crisp and popping. This "new" dragon island isn't it! They say these stains will not affect anything except map/ quest stages but for how long. We know SG/ZYNGA are money hungry and do not listen to their consumers. A new island, with new revenue stream is just that. I saw the same thing in clash of clans when they opened up their first "new discoverable place". The difference is clash of clans was/is still very popular. If they were going to go in a new or different direction then why not play to the strengths of what's already in the game? People whale out on their over-powered hereos they release like Wonka releases chocolate so why not a new PVP aspect? War of 3 Kingdoms is big but only comes around every 2-3 months so why not build an arena? I don't mean or normal raids. People have teams of hereos that they want to use more so why not 3-team vs 3-team, 5v5, introduce new in match mechanics like the special map stages (drowning, Insanity increase, mist, etc). Fix in game missed events like monster island or update other events with puzzles more centric since it is a match game. You are correct, we do not need gear. This isn't watcher of realms or raid:shadow legends but something new/fresh would be nice into something already featured. I wholeheartedly agree. For the longest time I wanted something other than just the same old formats again and again. They could have introduced new war formats, 3* wars, 4* wars, different war types on top of what we already have. They could've made events more interesting instead of just making them the same old 10 stage match 3 format. War of Three Kingdoms was an interesting idea and could have been great, but it needed to be flushed out with all of the problems like people leaving hundreds of flags every war making your efforts basically meaningless. Monster Island was a cool new even but we've only had that like what, 3 times since it started? More game modes like that would keep this game interesting and exciting. A new "game" that's literally just a re-skin of the original is NOT a way to keep players playing this game. Everything has been a cash grab for Zynga/SG and I understand they need money, but they also need PLAYERS so they can actually MAKE the money. Zynga/SG doesn't seem to understand that player retention is just as important as revenue.

I went to try the Dragons, and I liked it. I think the interface with the Citadel is a breath of fresh air. I still haven't finished some construction in the Citadel and on the hero board I have two good teams, the rest I have to improve if luck helps. However, despite almost two years of EP, I'm not a fan of the difficult mode of the stages because there's nothing new, the same with events and titans. If I feel this way, what will older and more experienced players say? Some people will complain that it's just to make money, but only those who want to spend it spend it.
1 - This is a new game inside the game... 2 - New levels in the actual game make more sense... 3 - Already saw people with five dragons of 5 stars... 4 - To end, I'm goint to tell what everyone already saw. It's just a way to make more money. 5 - Conclusion. A big pile of dragon sh#!t!

Level playing field is only good for 3 months.. Then the gap between FTP and CTP will skew.. The new map just gave them new whales to be interested.. and harvested.. A new income stream for themselves. If they were really concerned with their players "interest" in the game. They should finish Untold Tales and open new Seasons. You may sugar coat or window dress it.. But it still a money grab, plain and simple. Me, I'm CTP since 2018.. I just play to be entertained.. And it's getting boring.

I feel like you should master one area before moving on to another ! Monster island, war of three kingdoms all of the areas that need improvement and instead of improving things that need change for the better you undertake another side game. You haven't mastered the first. But I get it you wanted another area that you can generate cash flow. Every single decision has been not to benefit the community but to generate more money. So I love your optimism and positive spin on it but I've yet to see one decision made for the improvement or benefit of the players. Everything has always been greed motivated. Sure at the onset it'll be a even playing field but it wont take long for the spenders as and ftp gap to take hold. And then it'll just be a duplicate of the original. Paying players with stacked dragons versus ftp grinders. A much smarter investment would of been to master one area before taking on a second. So many things could of been fixed and improved but those don't bring in instant cash.

It's only the first day, but there's some feedback in our alliance chat that people will not be bothering going through the motions of building a stronghold from scratch again and restarting the game again in another guise. They feel it's ridiculous, and a few are talking about abandoning the game. People who've put a lot of effort in getting over level 100. This is a real shame. I'm predicting that this is the worst thing SG have decided to come up with, and they could lose a lot of players who'll just stop playing altogether. I must say, I do not feel like I could be bothered with it myself. I just feel deflated looking at it.
Hi Alan 👋 I can understand the frustration. It feels like a huge change and perhaps like something that can in cases cause a lot of division. I would suggest you try and see it as something that you can choose to or not to do. If ur alliance mates don't like it and u do then they should be OK with that and vice versa. The dragons have literally no impact whatsoever on wars or raids or titans and those are the things u do together as an alliance and there is from what I can see no intention to change this. So if u like farming and wanna speed up ur farming a little then yeah it might be for u. But if u don't wanna start over u don't have to. I haven't started it yet either but I can see myself spending very little time in the dragonspire and most in the regular base. As it is though I don't feel I need to compete in all parts of the game just the ones I enjoy and I would encourage others to do the same. Also if u feel unhappy in your alliance there are always others out there many of whom will have different outlooks too. Hopefully that helps a little but if not here's a beer to cheer u up 🍺

This is primarily because the Wales players excel at competing and often finish tasks well ahead of the average time, leveraging their resources to complete them quickly. It's evident that the main goal here is to generate more cash flow for SG, rather than focusing on the community's best interests. While change can be beneficial, it should genuinely serve the community rather than just benefiting a the developer There's no need to sugarcoat this.

You won't be able to use the dragons in any PVP content in Empires and Puzzles so just maps and quests. Unfortunately it seems there's a delay in the rollout due to some kind of glitch 😕 SMH.
Yep me to received word they were released to lvl 103 players but there was a glitch so they have had to postpone it. No word on when as yet but for now we are all left dragonless SMDH 😅
Do they plan to add the ability to war with just dragons and no original heros affecting the buffs - just as the original wars are not affected by dragon buffs? If that is the case, then yes, it is more of a level playing field. But if we can't play the war aspect of this new base, it isn't 1-1 equivalent of the game, since it lacks one of the best events in the game and reason many play. As for me, I am frustrated that dance effects can wipe out a dragon buff, even if it isn't a buff that is used in wars, yet... ? I'm asking them to fix this, because it took everything I had to get my team together to war, and my main healer has a dance effect. I am a new player and just got a new friend interested to play as well who is only about 2 weeks into the game. And instead of providing a level playing field - as two new new players - it is really confusing to know where to put our resources.
Hi CMSky 👋 so I haven't played much in the dragonspire yet but I believe we have dragon specific raids for now not wars as all are brand new. Maybe down the line but it is still very early days. As for the confusion that will dissipate I'm sure it's like getting a new phone 📱 u just have to play around with it a bit until you figure out how it works. I will look to put out more content on the dragons as well as assist mechanics etc in the near future 😀 in the mean time a massive welcome to your friend and tell them not to stress and just enjoy the journey 😅

SG has a delicate balancing act. Too unrelated will make it not worth the effort. Too intertwined becomes another requirement to progress.
