Here's a guess. I bet this fine all bass band is associated with Japanese Bandmasters. It seems to me (an American) we see more bands from All Japan on youtube . I'm not sure there is a problem. It may just be that there have been more youtubers filming All Japan bands. Thank you for showcasing this fine band. I would like to see more bands like this one cobsidered for

    Thank you JSL for sharing
The are very impressive and I have never heard of them til now.
Where in Japan are they from ?
The marching routines in front and rear were top draw 👏
The band itself sounded really beautiful and perfect 👏
Obviously like all Japanese high school bands, hours upon hours of gruelling practice practice, but the end result is what we witnessed.
I am unashamedly a KT fan, but the kids in Japan are truly amazing and without doubt the best in the world 🙏
    どうもありがとうございます

      Thank you for your comment.
They are from Saitama prefecture in Japan.
They've won gold prize 26 times in the national marching band championships and are considered as one of the best marching bands in Japan.
I'm glad to hear that you've got interested in their performance and sound.

      Hi
After watching this several times (as you do), you pick up things and my impression is the trumpeters in the opening piece, goosebumps is the word, that sound as they were walking towards you, must have sounded incredible, just note perfect 🙏
As I said before it was a great performance and the people present were treated to perfection. I study Japanese High School Bands ( well as best I can from the UK 🇬🇧), and your kids are just light years ahead. I have often made a comment in jest, that they are “Aliens from Planet Zanussi “, but how else do they get such strong breathing control at such a young age. It’s so impressive.
One day I will make to Japan and spend time travelling around to see and of course hear these beautiful bands 🙏
      ビデオを共有してくださった JSL と他のビデオグラファーの方々に心より感謝いたします。毎日、これらの素晴らしいバンドの新しいビデオを見ることができます。

Sorry, the last part of my comment went to the moon. I wanted to finish with "I wish some these bands would be considered for the Rose Parade as the Green" Let me know if that's possible. Thanks, Lance

Can someone tell me the name of the opening tune in this parade.
Only I saw a video the other day of Toho School Marching Band, doing the same number and they sounded beautiful as well. The number obviously brings out the best in all 👍

    Hi JSL
Can you tell the percentage of female/ male in the band.
In most cases the female is a lot higher in all sections of the bands. Which is something I love in the High School Bands.

      Hi, Dodger.
I'm not sure the exact figure but I guess about 70/30.
About 150 students belong to this band, and it is a very large one among high school bands.

      Thanks for your reply
It is as I thought, girls are more prominent in High School Bands. I have seen the split more like 80/20 within the whole country. The girl influence has changed the dynamic from military to dance ( KT being a leader in this).
The late .professor at Tachibana was a great driving force in this.
But you cannot deny the impact Japanese High School Bands have made on the world in the last two decades. They are just lights years ahead.
