Just an FYI that when you are in the red there is a penalty towards stats like crit BUT I did the same testing LAST night on my live stream with full gear and just difference in stats against floor 28 bosses and Str+precision with around 45% crit worked better dmg wise. Precision matters a lot still. You want at least 90-95% with most in str and some in agi. You accomplish this by equipping weapons that have dupes as dupes have precision
So strenght all in?
For me i just put it on 85% into strength and 15% perception... with this stats, i can even beat 2lvl above me like easily 😂 n Oc u need too have good weapons and support too

I start to see the difference as well. I Got lucky with RNG for artifacts today that give crit rate(some +1 for crit rate) and critical damage(176%). I only need 98 for Agi, 90 for percep and the rest to Strength - the damage output has increased a lot

it takes me about 90 stat to hit 50% Crit Cap with my artifact rolls
Without im about 45%
do you think that 90 stat is worth 5% Crit Chance or just dump it into STR? i am using A3 Bloosom So i am getting huge Crit Dmg But i use the huntsman or Book for 2nd weapon and dont really use the scythe so i feel like i need every bit of crit to take advantage of the Expert Acc artifact set
also 80% precision is a good cut off point right?

@@PayneBlade I just checked my stat details and somehow my crit rate is only at ~16%. 99 STR, 90 AGI, 95 Perception, 20 on int and vitality. Hmm... haven't had much trouble with him so far but maybe I need to tweak something.

With 4piece Crit set effect and katana buff and beast set, crit would be better right? Besides wouldn’t strength loose some value when equipping a second weapon with high attack?
looks like no. That's why I kept using the scythe because it gave more crit. looks like anyway u spin it FOR THE MOST PART str wins. Remember that Crit dmg scales off atk so the higher atk the higher crit dmg. Also, beast set raises atk too with every crit so I haven't seen a diminishing return on atk yet
The end results definitely did not surprise me, not in a bad way though. This is why it is important to do these tests! In theory you would think Str is a higher priority considering AGI and PRE are % based. If you have a low base stat in str those % multipliers aren't going to add up as much.
Ya looking at 90-95% precision first then all str and get ur crit stuff from gear

but i have a qst, if you focus crit max and decent perception first while having the expert set that gives you atk for each time you crit that give you 1.6% x 100 times that's 160% ATK and this way you have crit you have atk and you have perception

Atk and Prec is still the go to build since you can get the CR and CD through weapons and artifacts. You just need to be lucky for the RNG.

my stats at lvl 51 is 235 agi and 125 precision with the beast set and that has been working better then strength and precision but ofc thats because i had the exact things i needed to invest into those artifacts peoples artifact luck may have them choose different build style's

Beast set is correct. Depending on your stats toughness is fine, destroyer is great for more ultimates with proper stats and armed

Hey there, love the info, based on this video, the high damage is on STR & precision only. Should we entirely neglect agility?
Let your gear do most of the crit rate and crit dmg for u and hopefully you can reach the 50% mark with that. I wouldn't totally neglect it depending on the build and weapon but for the most part str and precision at 85% is a what u want

@G3GamerChannel toughness set boosts crit by 8% but any set can get substat crit rate and that's what you want
Looks like overall we can get highest damage from Strength if Precision is around 96% and critical 30%
Yes precision I found around 90%-95% works best with crit rate at 40% and crt dmg at 120+

What are your thoughts of running STR vs AGI if you were using the expert set and had no crit rate on your artifact substats? I just wonder because the base crit rate there is like 17.8% for me. Which is pretty low. So perhaps there is more value in that crit rate in order to get stacks with the expert set?

Lol then u can balance it out. It's not a one solution fits all but more of what works best overall
@@PayneBlade Also I guess after some testing this set is still significantly better than any alternatives. By the time I reach any boss even at those terrible crit stats I usually have around 20 stacks. So that's a 26% atk increase bare minimum, which is far more than any other set. Granted idk how that would compare to 20% damage increase with the Executioner set. Not that I have any good pieces for that either.

Firstly, the video was great, good info and exactly what was needed to prove the facts as opposed to just saying "this is the right way"
The only thing i disagree with is "having to have 50% crit" - it's not necessary at all - not even for Plum maybe 35% at max. The reason for that is your artifacts - but also, hitting a crit every 1/2 hits does less damage overall compared to full STR - so you should focus on the crit damage not so much the crit chance and on pure str.
Honestly, for SJW the best stats are usually full str like you mentioned, even with crit based build. it outputs the most damage hands down. when you get to a high enough level your base precision will be around 80-85% which is also more than enough. the 4 piece leather gives all the crit chance and dmg you need as well.
Haha ya the 50% crit is just optimal from gear if you can get it but definitely not 100% necessary by any means
Its kinda simple how to upgrade the stats. It basically depends on which weapon u have. If u have the plum sword right at the beginning, focus on upgrading the stats attack, agility and perception in a 2:2:1 proportion, and after igris and when u hit 85% perception do 3:2 on attack and agility. And there u go. If u dont have the sword u do 1:1 STR PRC till u reach 80% PRC and the u switch to 2:1 STR PRC till u reach 85% perception. Then u wanna do 3:2 STR agility. And ggs no 10 min tutorial. (Something to keep in mind, the intelligence and vitality stats are worthless cuz upgrading 90 points gives u like 1000 hp and the intelligence dont pay off since u recover like 200 mana per second).

Any information on the point of diminishing returns on Strength,like a soft cap and when you should be investing in other stats like agility?

I did able to get 48% crit rate just with artifact need to work on crit dmg accessories now the problem is keeping the precision over 90% every time i level up it goes down is 4str and 1prec or 3str and 2prec which one is good
what does suck a tiny bit is the crit cap to only 50% for hit rate since coming off star rail it can go beyond 50% does suck a tiny bit but im unsure if thats just for jinwoo specifically
