Saku, I can’t stress enough how outstanding you are! Everything about this production is just amazing- the writing, sound design; it is so carefully made and structured, just music to ears. Sounds, the acting, the world building is leaving me speechless. I’ve been waiting for continuance of this story and I can’t express properly how amazing the next part is. I still need to process everything, I will most definitely listen to this several times, but my god it’s damn good! The devil is in the detail, literally, how easy it all seemed at the very beginning and how the reality of hell hits the listener. I feel like this story has a lot of potential- the listener seems to be witty and intriguing, I wonder if they will find a way to outsmart their demon, though I think realistically it is impossible given that they will be up against an entity that is several eternities old, but I can definitely hope for some chess match or other all or nothing deal/ contract, or listener becoming part of the growing family

They were blinded by rage and grief and it started to fade when he started explaining how he’d torture them. Cause like maybe the trimidian tortured xanny so it reminded them of it. I don’t know, it just came to mind so … Great work Saku! Much love and support, take care of yourself

I really love this sequel, and I'm curious as to what inspired you to interpret hell like this 🤔everything about this video made me very excited, you could say, but it was more of fangirling than anything, I really like hearing other people's interpretations of "heaven" and "hell", so this was definitely super interesting to listen to, as well as the portrayal of the listener and Cevyk! ♥

In the common celestial religions: hell is a fire-ish place made for both humans and demons, it is equal for both, guarded by angels and only god decides the whens and wheres. Therefore, most of these religions deemed demons to a blurry image, it made it difficult to understand their motives for evil. So, even if the hell in Saku's universe based on a hierarchy, there is a little touch of the typical evil we bound demons to. Cevyk is not nice at all! this didn't start as a love story driven by love and affection, but pure lust and also a duty that all demons are bound to. It's different than the usual character's we see in the Saku-verse, all thoughtful and morally gray. I only see darkness, no matter how many times I repeated the video, searching for something that could vent any kindness I only sense Cevyk's cold-hearted desire to own the Listener, not even because of affection but just because he sees them as a shiny emblem he could add to his collection. He didn't care for their feelings, he was cruelly honest and didn't change anything about himself for the sake of the Listener. And I think that when he advised the Listener to get used to their pain it wasn't because of the purity of his heart but because he set a certain expectation - that the Listener is all courageous and strong - and he didn't want that image to break for the sake of his own ego, so that he'll keep them, that they won't turn boring. I also love the way the Listener's slow realisation, their fear that built up slowly. It's the normal reaction someone gets when they realise their decision wasn't probably the best after they face the consequences. The Listener underestimated their position in the contract, they underestimated the will of Cevyk to actually inflict pain upon them. And so he was planning to do! He kept on repeating that he believes firmly that the Listener deserves to be punished, and that no soul deserves mercy, unless he decided to show it when and how he likes. One thing I didn't understand is the duality of demons in the story. Not their duties but their entire existence. Do they deserve to be punished in this world? Or are they only the *physical* imagery of human's drive for malice and power? Are they the way the universe seals humans it knows darkness unfolded them enough? Which makes me question if we ~as listeners~ can question demons' morals if they are nothing but a tool for inflicting punishment. Can we reflect our human standards on them? I really don't want the way Cevyk is as a character to change. The darkness does suit him well, it gives him a citrus taste that I grew to love, such a fascinating character, with that craving that we know it's purely selfish. I want to see the Listener development underneith that own darkness, how they will get used to a deal they signed themselves.
Since time isn't relevant anymore, we can assume that he'll come back after a few centuries. Great. I guess I'll befriend this stick and use it as a light saber in the meantime. This is actually terrifying 😂. The sound Emerson made me actually think about what I'd do if I was in that situation. The kissing isn't helping to calm the inevitable future tho.
