I'm so glad that I came across this channel. I've recently bought Mitsubishi Eclipse from 1991. and your videos already helped me a lot! Always glad to see new video and to learn something new! Huge thanks for the videos and keep up with great stuff! Cheers!
I recently bought a couple of the decks with the aux input for portable cd players for the nostalgia because this was probably one of the first mass manufactured vehicles with an aux input.
@@Dsmdude4g63 there were a few others, but usually auxiliary in the rear of the deck. These were in the front which yes, has to be one of the earliest.
Yep, I remember when an AUX input was big time. Cool to see the old tape deck still working. It was very cool tech, but I'm not ready to go backwards in time; I kinda like having every song ever made available in a few seconds.
Funny, A buddy of mine back in the early 90s, had that Same sony disc man set up, in his red 1985 toyota corolla gt-s manual coupe!! He had it mounted to the seat bracket, with a snake holder kit (I think that's what it was called..) The unit would sit there suspended about a foot above the elbow rest, between the two front seats.. Anyways, I remember, every time the car hit a bump, the disc would Always skip!! The Simpler Good Old Days, Lol!!
You are so awesome I don’t believe a man with such a collection like that should call it junk that’s a whole Lotta treasure and excellent man, especially for a cave and or a garage and garage material. DSM people make some beautiful garages and of course got all these beautiful spare parts it’s just amazing I’m so excited when I finally become that person one day I have a shed full of parts randomized pipes and hoses, of course but I do have my prize pieces as well. Just omg what did I just watch like your so coooool and you just keep getting cooler your damn ice cold 😎 so badass
I really liked this video, it's my goal to put a sound set like this on my Eclipse GSX 1993/94, I've been looking for it since October 2021, very difficult here in Brazil and when I find it on ebay they don't offer shipping to Brazil, One more congratulations for your videos, very very good!!!
I wish more then anything I could find an honest and knowledgeable mechanic that could fix my 91 tsi eagle talon. I have spent over 6 grand (all the money i saved up) on rebuild my original engine and being promised it would be better then new. I got it back worse then ever. After taking back a few times. I didn't trust them with my car anymore. The car is still near mint and all original. But I would do anything if I could find some who knew what they were doing. Especially sad when I live the the so called Motor City..
Thank you Norbert. I have covered setting the timing in my timing belt videos if that is what you are looking for. I will have to look back if I touched in the TPS at all. I don’t think I did anything with the ISC though.
@@SlippingTime thank you! The car I am restoring has the 6 disc changer in the trunk, but it is missing the oem radio. I will just install a single din for now, but hoping to find one someday.
@@SlippingTime Something is strange.. The radio one is the last one I can see.. The other one is just gone.. I checked on 2 different browsers. I'd definitely look into that. Might've accidentally gotten marked private or something? Cuz I can get to it fro!m the link!

Remember grabbing the case of cassettes and picking out what to play? Talk about distracted driving.

@@clarkkent459 that is sad to hear. There used to be some good dsm places in or near Detroit at one time. Don’t give up.
The best videos, we always look forward to new content from dsm.Could you talk about isc, tps, ignition timing.?😊

my 90 had a double din eq but without the aux port, I just used the tape adapter as well. I think 3000gt had the aux port also
These decks were shared with a few Mitsubishi vehicle at the time. Thanks for the comment.
Awesome video! If you ever come across a GSX 2G Infinity radio for the 6 disc changer, please let me know. I am searching for one currently.
I did have a deck once in a GSX that was missing the changer, but sold it with the car. I will keep my open.
