I totally agree. Most people saying that whatever he's saying is true are probably building their friendship on superficial things like money, looks etc and when they lose that unifying factor, the friendship goes too. True friendship is build on interests and honesty. In fact, you can tell from the beginning whether your friendship is temporary ama a long-term thing and take the necessary precautions. Then again, people need to realize that interests do change too and they should be ready for that by learning to find happiness and company from within. Same goes for intimate relationships.
The difference between he and minis like him at least he's honest so if you have more of an altruistic look at life, you can stay away from a guy like him. There's no point being friends with someone like that but that's his perspective that everybody's using everybody if there is an afterlife, he'll be in for a rude awakening from a spiritual perspective
