I was hoping that you would make an April Fool's draft with terrible picks and just keep a straight face through it all.

I had a mini heart attack reading this

Everyone drafts the worst they can and gives it to someone on the other team. Then that person gets to build the best they can, and play

We've played the "draft the worst deck possible and pass it to your right" before, it was a lot of fun. Some interesting strategies and it was fun to see what you could build at the end. Definitely not something I would do too often because the games can be pretty painful, but pulling it out when you're bored with a format and have some extra boosters can be really fun.

i was the opponent in match 3!
that was my trophy match with this deck (not super surprising considering the mox + crypt). i was familiar with the skydiver vs. jitte interaction, so the consideration was for other lines around the grist, attacking with the ooze was never on my radar.
in game 2, i had the snuff out for a while and was looking for a window to catch the last blocker.
in game 3, i misplayed by passing priority on the kavu before playing the quick reflexes, but shooting the real kavu rather than the metamorph was intentional. given that you were operating on so few cards, i was more scared by a way to blink/bounce and replay the kavu than i was by the one extra mana you got from the metamorph. i definitely ran somewhat hot, especially in that third game with your draw being pretty sub-par, but on the last turn, you were dead to any creature because of the grist -2, and i had a redraw off of the canopy for a second look if i didn't have rankle. obviously rankle is a pretty brutal looking way for that to end, but the card didn't have to be that good to end the game there.
definitely caught some lower percentage draws for the win, but we take those. i love me some golgarbage. i think there's a tendency in cube drafting to over-index on the really broken stuff and cards like witherbloom command, grist, jitte, tireless tracker, etc. get overlooked because they're less likely to enable broken stuff.

Always fun to see the equipment owned by player 1, controlled by player 2, but equipped to player 1's creature interaction! Plus we even got to see it twice!

That tortured existence in game 1 does some nasty stuff in peasant cube. Ruthless sniper, faith of the devoted, and the wombo combo containment construct.
Not sure about it in vintage cube though.

52:30 Last opponent and game he coulda wrecked you by playing Lego reflexes while FTK was on the stack, he woulda forced you to kill the copter or ftk.
People often don’t realize it’s a must deal 4 damage and FTK will kill itself if no other targets.

I thought LSV mentioned insidious roots, so I'm guessing that's it. Kind of odd to just have the two of them in the cube but it's a more powerful thopter+sword when it works.
