Let’s be very honest. This performance was a triumph of vocals. Jimin proved to the world why she’s recognized as one of the best vocalists in Korea and JYPE’s finest. Her vocals were so emotive, strong, and clear. She sang the high notes with precision and ease. Jimin may not have won this episode but she triumphed.
Ailee and Sohyang are clearly stronger vocalists than Jimin as they are above outstanding and beyond most vocalists’ skills. But Jimin is vocally similiar (skill level) to Taeyeon but a vocally bit higher vocally (skill-wise/technique) than Hyorin (current vocals) and much higher vocally than Soohyun (AKMU) though I love all the above vocalists. We just need Jimin to have a well supported and timely comeback as it has now been almost 20 months since last comeback.

I think Jimin is quite or more popular in her own country. It's only among international kpop fans that she often gets overlooked. Her lack of appearances is jyp's fault rather than korean netizens. At least this is what I've noticed over the years.

It was never a fair competition to begin with since most of the people in the 20's in the audience were Wanna One fans. Shows how all voting competitions in Korea are pointless when scores of fans are present amongst the audience.
The truth is whenever idol groups participate in any competition their fans come in huge amounts. I am sure Wanna one has fans in various ages even ahjumma's, still doesn't make it fair.Boy Groups like EXO,BTS, Wanna1, Seventeen etc have strong fandoms in various ages, no matter what performance they show in comparison to others they will win because of this audience votes.
