This "song" is the rock version of a freestyle. The band was in a long recording session for Nevermind, and were having a hard time getting one of the hits exactly right. With each mistake, and retake, Kurt was getting more and more frustrated. He always preferred the imperfect, raw takes, but the record label wanted a clean pass of the song. Eventually Kurt got so fed up that he began feeding distortion into the mic as loud as he could. He then split into a really angry riff and started shouting incoherently at the top of his lungs. The other bandmates followed his lead and began riffing along on their own instruments.
That frustrated explosion of defiant sound was recorded, and placed as a hidden track at the end of the record. The track was called "Endless, Nameless"

this is not true, this a myth about the song. butch also said the lyrics/vocal part on the break down of polly was an accident, even though it had been recorded that way for years.

Endless, Nameless is the result of a malfunction while recording Lithium. Idk what happened, but it kinda just turned into all of them playing and Kurt belting out any lyrics that came to his head.

About the guitar:
1. I can't agree more with you about how much the guitar must've cost
2. To tell the truth, the guitar itself kinda did come back from the dead after replacing the old guitar neck with a new one...So this guitar pretty much came back from the dead (or something else like that) like about two times when Kurt Cobain was still around XD
