For a place that big, I agree with you. Thing is, as what's in the video, there may be areas that may require a person to clean the panels. Good on them for the proper system (assuming they are using an RO/RI system), but shame on them for using an improper method and a squeegee, especially with the amount of dirt buildup on those panels. Always rinse to loosen up that debris before using the brush and for heaven sake, never use a squeegee. Glad to see they didn't use any type of cleaning chemical as well..

Not that those guys have much for rain gutters in what appears to be a desert area, they could use them at the base of the panels. It would collect most of the water that comes off the panels as well as any from the infrequent rainstorms. Have a settling tank at the end and just recycle the water for cleaning.

No, India *won't* overtake. Stop arguing. You aren't God and thus you can't know if India is more powerful in the future.
I've gone to India for a case study and I would say it's *not* a very "pleasant" experience from my point of view. I would say it's a *undeveloped* country and it's lacking food hygiene and alot of toilets. I've been to countries like Japan, Germany, Norway and China and they are doing much better then India. I don't see any reasons on why India will overtake other countries.
I'm not hating India but these are the truth.
      ACCEPT IT.

Won't this cause another problem of weeds growing right under the solar panels ? Then do they need to cut the weeds ?

The richest video I have seen which makes money after the video by billing clients, more instantaneous than movies. Looks like one spends 250 ml litre of water per panel and we could have placed a semi circular pipe to harvest the water under the panel. But the water cost at 1 Re for 20 litre recovered in 1 hour by a panel. The cleaning cost obviously recovered including even the food. ! Also if one panelz dirty and in parallel to a bright panel, some diode current flows through it in forward bias leading to wastage. Thus cleaning panelz z very healthy. Doc1.HR

Should have soaked the panel with water the first time so the sand andere other debris got rinsed off. Or get a powerwasher. Now he's scratching the glass.

Error #1 - Not rinsing first, going straight to brush use, Error #2 - (worse than error #1) Using a squeegee. NEVER use a a squeegee on solar panels. EVER. Error #3 - by the looks of it, those panels hadn't been cleaned in more than a year. Get more equipment, more workers and do a continuous cleaning routine. That is a lot of panels to maintain, and by not properly cleaning them, you will replace more than you think. Damage from the environment due to lack of cleaning and by using improper cleaning methods and/or equipment will cause the panels to fail when you least expect it.

You should first hose as much sand off without using the brush. You’re scratching the panels by pushing the sand across and into the glass. I’m curious though how they got them so dirty in the first place. Seems like someone doesn’t know their maintenance schedule.

Most of the solar panels in Maharastra were destroyed by the villagers because their minister said if we use too much of solar energy, the sun will become cold! Wtf...! That's hilarious! If you don't believe..search in TH-cam!

  • @Noruzenchi86

nuts how thorough they're trying to be with this... like you don't need the sqeegee i'm pretty sure, just kinda brush them all down really quickly every week or so. 10 seconds per panel tops.
only a fool would spend this much time cleaning something to spotless quality just for it to get dirty again tomorrow.
