I adore the fun that Stacey brings to the dance floor. It's a hard night for the cameramen at Blackpool. The bigger floor means the isolations are hard to capture. A lot of overhead shots used as well.
I think the BBC must realise there's something a bit Kylie-ish about Stacey, because she's had a few Kylie-styled costumes now, and she even danced a quickstep to Kylie in week 1. But she is also generally quite reminiscent of Abbey Clancy too. Shame she didn't score as highly as Abbey for her Salsa.

I don't think the routine was that great. She even admitted herself she didn't close her legs properly coming into and out of lifts, they all seemed a bit hesitant and anything aside from them felt very lackluster and low energy.
Wow! Just wow! Forget the dance that ending trick sold it for me!! I’m going to give it a 9.5 because there was slight issues here and there but the dance as a whole was amazing!
I just love watching Stacey and Kevins dances over and over again. For me they were the greatest partnership ever on Strictly and so happy the are now a couple. They really deserved to win it. Stacey is so lovely and Kevin is my favourite Strictly pro. Will be hard to watch Kevin dancing with somebody else this year.

Very nice disco moves, great hip action, nice head swings, great enthusiasim ans wonderful lifts especially the throwing her to another pro lift at the end but I expected more Salsa steps but it was still good *8/10*
@GoldXrose To be honest, I think the only judge which has a favourite(s) is Shirley. I like Craig, I know he is (very) harsh but I think if all the judges were light hearted, the show wouldn't be as amusing.
Ash I think Craig is a pretty good judge, but really he's not a strong dancer. He is almost always extremely off-balance and sometimes off-time when the judges make their entrance. He doesn't have the high heels excuse either!

I know Blackpool is a huge venue, so the extra dancers are needed to fill up the space. But I really don't think it was a good idea to have them as part of the choreography here, because it really just took away from Stacey and Kevin and made it hard for me to focus on them. But I did find it to be an enjoyable routine!

In addition, sometimes both of her knees were bent which is wrong (the standing leg should be straight and the moving one she be bent). Haven't said that, she really gave it her all out there (in terms of performance), her musicality was wonderful and the lifts were spectacular! A 7.
Stacey’s entrance looks ‘ungainly’. Her drop (where Kevin catches her head, a very typical Salsa move) is slightly hesitant. I think the costume department loves to dress her like Kylie, because she looks like the Showgirl again in this routine. She has those Salsa hips to be sure, but I think because Blackpool dancefloor is a lot bigger than the studio, and since this dance requires small(er) steps to look good, thus I feel Salsa isn’t the best dance for Blackpool. Also, Stacey must now refine the lifts, both into and out of them (right now they just look ‘ungainly’, for the lack of a better word). 8
It wasn't her best. She struggled with the cha-cha and I think similar problems came out here. And Blackpool is always difficult because the backup dancers do tend to show up the contestants.
Massive bruise on her right hip there. I presume from doing that the floor spin all week! I used to do that move and you should keep your body straight through the spin, and be right on that hip, not be curled up like a koala and on your bum! I can only imagine that her hip really bloody hurts, so props to her for doing it tonight! Anyway, not much Salsa in it, and she still hasn't managed to tighten up that core. But I still like her and still enjoy watching her - she is getting so much personal enjoyment out of this experience and that is lovely to witness. She is another one who was clearly a beginner at week 1, who is getting better each week.

It’s unfortunate that the production gets in the way of the performance. It’s not the fault of the celeb or their partner. The producers want big numbers with gimmicks to fill the space. The stick of rock was ridiculous and inappropriate.
Those lifts were brave! Especially when she was sat on one guys shoulder and then fell sideways into a lift with another guy. One of her dances that I actually enjoyed, she's been a bit hit and miss for me.

I’ve always wondered if the strictly pros ever watch the Dwts routines and thanks to this dance, they do. Two of those lifts (the cartwheel and throw away overhead backward) are from Lindsey Arnold when she was paired with Jordan Fisher in season 25. They went on to become champions. The third one Val Chmerkovskiy does quite often with his celebs usually in their Argentine Tango and salsa numbers.🙂
