Funny, I just got this one also, replacing my 20+ year old manfrotto which is super solid, but heavy and difficult to adjust the height. The smallrig is so much easier in so many ways.

I think you may have linked the wrong tripod, at least for Germany. The Amazon link leads to the cheaper version with two adjustment knobs.

You can use a turning motor on top of the tripod. They work great for these kinds of shots.

True. I also have a slider for that too. But this is just for people who only got the standard tripod with budget friendly in mind.
