In degree mode u can also get same ans like sir.
Just do in degree mode,
π=180
Cos(21×180/4) = -707 in degree mode
Or
Cos (21π/4) = -707 in redius mode

@@vishalkharva179 you have to use only degree mode in scientific calculater. Your mode will be just like this (reg, degree in calculater). In que or problems you have some degree of number then u easily covering in solution. (Ex-cos(945)=-0.707)
But when your que or problems have some radian mode so you can use only one thing in degree that is just put value of π that is 180 (π=180).
[Ex- cos(21π÷4=-0.707)]

so that negative sign is due to that reason
It's like
(2^16) . (-1)
= (-1).(2^16)
= - (2^16)
