The Bible says homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom God. Also adulters, drunkards, etc. It's dangerous to think we can live in sin and go live with God. That's why we need to read the Bible so we will know and not be deceived. We are to love everyone and in Love to tell them the Truth. ❤

@@dansaber4427 Can you be a liar, thief, alcoholic, adulterer etc and be Christian? When we accept Jesus Christ as our own personal Saviour, we no longer continue in those practices before conversion. We live according to God’s Word and pleasing to Him no longer pleasing ourselves.
That does not mean that we are not tempted, or we do fall into sin, or the battle isn’t hard. But that’s why we need to prayerfully read God’s Word, and apply it to our lives daily. Having believers who can pray, support at times of battle is always a good thing.
No matter where we are, what we have done, no matter what the battle Christ is our rock, strength and help and He is willing and able to turn our lives around.

The antichrist will have millions/billions of "followers." But, he isn't leading even one of them toward Christ. Appealing to the masses is not the goal. Having a sound message rooted in the gospel is the goal, and the Holy Spirit will do the rest.

  • @Sealust50

It ALL boils down to whether an individual decides to UPHOLD GOD'S WORD or not. God said in his Word that in the end days, there will be those who do not uphold God's Word, they will have "itchy ears" (meaning they pick and choose which words and scripture they feel comfortable in hearing rather than GOD'S TRUTH), and they will fall away from God's Word or totally not acknowledge it. God's Word is like a sword (Sword of Truth) and many decide on their own to twist, turn, or even eliminate it for the sake of making potential followers of Christ COMFORTABLE. God's whole purpose and plan with regard to his Word (the Bible) was to "prick us in own hearts" after we realize, acknowledge, and own our willful sins. God said nothing about trying to accommodate the feelings of potential followers, instead God said to "pick up the cross of Jesus" and endure to the end in the TRUTH. This is what differentiates a TRUE Christian from other so called Christians - the steadfastness and complete dedication to UPHOLDING GOD'S TRUTH, even when upholding that truth is not "convenient" or "uncomfortable" for others. When the Lord comes again, the Lord will be separating the goats from the sheep - the goats to the left and the sheep to the right. Every Christian must decide which side they will find themselves on the day of judgment. Will you choose to remain steadfast in scripture or not.

Woefully, from the Garden, God's government and Word have been challenged!
Andy Stanley, there is nothing that is really hidden from us, so you should put in the time to understand. We have been given "everything for life and godliness in Christ" aka Yahusha Messiah Son of God who has been spoken of throughout the entire body of scripture, the same Son and Word of God who created all things (John 1).
James 1 | 4 Allow perseverance to finish its work, so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
We all need the seven miles to Emmaus experience (Luke 24) in many things, so praise Yah we have been gifted the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth so that we may discern spiritual things and have the honor of remaining in Him, thus proving ourselves as His (Yahusha's) disciples (John 15) Just like Messiah's apostles, Andy needs his mind opened to understand the scriptures. Currently, he's dangerous to himself and others and needs to be called out on this. And, if he listens, perhaps gently restored. Seems like he is sowing to the flesh instead of the Spirit, and disregarding faith. The full body of scriptures is the provided witnesses we need if our goal is to know the Father and the Son. Without the fullness of the scriptures, there is no foundation on which to base our belief at all. John 17:3 Andy, it's a living word, and you are preaching another Messiah who is not one with the Father!!!
Hebrews 4 | 12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
Luke 24 | 25 Then Jesus said to them, “O foolish ones, how slow are your hearts to believe all that the prophets have spoken! 26 Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and then to enter His glory?” 27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was written in all the Scriptures about Himself.
44 Jesus said to them, “These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms.” 45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.

You might as well throw in Martin Luther of the reformation for comments that he made. Luther said "We will neither see or hear Moses for Moses was only given to the Jewish people and does not concern us Gentiles and Christians." In Luther's mind some books of both the new and old testaments were not equal in inspiration. He believed that Esther should not have been included in the Canon. (Taken from History of Interpretation by F.W. Farrar) Luther would be barred from joining most churches today. Something to think about.

David, you have no idea of the burdan and heartache a parent has for a child who has walked away from God because of hearing or seeing comments like you just made. We desparately want our loved child to remember the love they had for Jesus when they were young, but what they keep hearing is the judgement and unloving comments from Christians like you who are so quick to judge them. Unfortunately their view of Jesus is damaged by Christians who are so quick to be hateful toward them. Read about what Jesus had to say over and over again to the people who thought they were holy. Please, from a parent who is burdened by a child who is not following Christ, I respectfully ask you to be loving as Jesus was, not hateful. It is so unhelpful to people who need the Hope of Jesus in their life.

Good try David, Taking a verse out of context and telling others it is a stumbling block is just wrong. The person speaking in Psalm 137:9 is anonymous. It is a man lamenting the destruction of Jerusalem. He is crying out for vengeance against the Babylonians. Might be harsh, But not God speaking. Try using truth to push your agenda instead of relying on misdirection and lies.

Daniel 12:10 "Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand."
Jesus will not save anyone He cannot command. If your pretending, if you know deep in your heart that you have never truly submitted to Him or unsure, Now is the time to Call Out to Jesus and make yourself right with Him. We cannot save ourseves We are only saved Through Him. He gave us a way out by dying for our sins, He took all sin and defeated it. But you have to give up you, lessen you so that He can be Greater In You. Renew your commitment with Jesus. Realize your purpose and that it's all about our souls. He Loves you and Wants You. Your eternity depends on Him. I have failed my Father and I am a sinner so know that I do not judge, just reminding. Peace.

I have seen many debates with atheist apologists who embarrassed Christian teachers who did not do their homework sufficiently. it was embarrassing, Andy never got sufficiently trained to refute them so he wants to avoid having to.

It's really mean-spirited that many ministers emphasize the ugly things that the bible says about homosexuality. The truth is that the bible contradicts itself on the issue. If you read the scriptures on " An aversion to women" and the gift of celibacy". you learn that two of Jesus' disciples likely were gay and that they considered it a gift, because the fact that they didn't fall in love with women helped them to stay focused on their ministry.

    He would not publicly
    attack another
We need to reach the younger generation in the schools who are being taught and encouraged to look at their gender feelings etc

And do with Love as God teaches love is our greatest gift

You elders say you want to help the body of Christ. If that is so, rather than pointing out people we should steer clear of - you should not only be praying for the Body in this video, you should be telling immature Christians how to operate in the gift of discernment; otherwise what, we're supposed to take your word for it? I don't think so.

I agree with the Bible and we should turn away from our sins but we can't do this by ourselves but with the help of the Holy Spirit through sanctification process. Paul says we once were those type of people but when saved we have a new identity in Christ so we are no longer identified as our sin. I am wondering your opinion on someone who is gay and turns to Christ and believes? I think they won't instantly not be gay but yes God could do that. Most likely they will have to struggle against their temptation just as others with sin do the same, but are they still considered gay even if they are celibate? Yes I believe they would think so but I agree they should not participate and think it's an ok lifestyle.

I would ask the presenters this. Your literal interpretation of the Bible on this matter seeks to force homosexual people to lifelong chastity. Each of you had the option of lifelong chastity but didn't opt for that. Can I ask you why? I think the reason for 99% of heterosexual Christians is that marriage offers lots of positives whereas lifelong chastity is unutterably terrible - lonely, miserable, depressing, stifling, hopeless, sexually frustrating - and you wouldn't have dreamed of the latter. I'd rather you were truthful than= spout the usual meaningless cant. If you are insisting on other people living stunted lives you have avoided for yourselves at all cost, it is a fair question to ask.

    • @covertneglect3503

What makes you think that people who experience same sex attraction are forced to live in lifelong singleness according to the Bible? There are many people who have a history of same sex attraction who have gone on to happily marry someone of the opposite sex, which is certainly permitted by the Bible. A stunted life would be one where the person struggling with same sex attraction never received healing of the issues causing the same sex attraction but instead decided to exacerbate the problem by sexually behaving in ways for which the body was not designed.

Jesus was chaste. I’m not really sure why you’re assuming that not having sex and being sexually pure before God is not a fully vibrant, full life. It was for Jesus, it is for me, and it is for many other people. Seems like you’re trying to accuse them men of withholding something, and/or assuming something of God’s plan for His children’s lives that just isn’t true. God gives us life, and He gives it abundantly….but if you follow your desire without submitting to God…that is lonely, miserable and a deprived life. We called to not be a slave to our sinful desires.
