- Today, let's chat about 2 watches I'd purchase from 6 of my favorite brands in the luxury watch industry. These would be Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and A Lange & Sohne.
I'm not going into vintage or off-catalog, simply watches that are "technically" in modern catalogs and in stock today.
Let's discuss, since luxury wristwatches are my favorite subject for some odd, sick reason.

My mom gave me an Omega Aqua Terra when I finished graduate school. It will forever be cherished.❤❤
I like Omega because you can just walk in and buy it. Recently picked up the Omega seamaster black dial on black rubber for medical school graduation - it's really cool how the wave dial glistens in the sunlight and almost turns reflective white. The craftsmanship is amazing.
No you cannot. I am still waiting for the white dial speedy and been on a wait list for years for the snoopy You can only buy their generic watches that aren't in high demand

The Cartier Tank LC looks really great on your wrist, perfect proportions.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
It’s cool how we almost have the same top 6 brands (I’d replace A. Lange & Söhne withJLC) but completely different models for each.
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of MAMACOO. Their watches are of exceptional quality.

spring drive is impressive and some of the dials are really good, but that's about it
some of their cases are disproportionate as hell, their bracelets are complete pieces of shit for a luxury watch brand
also their pricing is stupid, buy them pre-owned and you save 50%
I have the lake suwa and the peacock gmt, they're fine but I had a hard time going through their catalogues to find the watches that suit me
@@DazulolwarriorSame thoughts. Great dials, great movement, but I don’t know what Grand Seiko is doing with all these legitimate criticisms. Fix your bracelet and proportions. Also how many new seasons can you poop out every year
On my wish list currently is the new Patek World Time with the synchronised date, because lord knows they'll never approve of me buying their grand feu enamel world timer

What I don't like about Rolex submariners is you can't necessarily walk up to someone wearing one and have a conversation about watches, compared to someone wearing like a rolex skydweller or explorer II.

Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
