At least an iconic part of him still shows ...unlike the other dust take, his old self just...fades away...well until you play the good route (in some fan games)
It kinda makes sense why it fades away because lv but keeping the personality is fun
It doesn't fade away. He goes insane after killing Papyrus. It's more realistic that way.

Love how Sans basically makes fun of Fanon!Dusttale by saying using other monsters attacks is uncreative. Why must jokes or joking moments in AUs be more better then the actual serious AUs nowadays(aside from DTLG)?
Because there is too much low quality AU's and finding gems it's hard in ocean of trash.
I would recommend you Inverted Fate and Hand plates.

Sans in the Throne room phase looks like he isn't paying attention to the conversation he's having.
Okay, Dusttale was an AU I played as a kid and I enjoyed it more than most people did. I was too amazed by the simple it looks compared to now's fangames, but, as a kid, anything was incredible to me, either it had low or high effort put into it, or the quality. It was all incredible.
And this version of the game was short, but amazing.
But the hoodie really does say that Sans is feeling an internal depression because of the genocide. That touch is something iconic from him.
Summary: *hoodie off = lose essence*
The difference is that one's an depressed schizophrenic maniac and the other's just an lazy skeleton who's tired of taking it easy
This just seems more accurate to sans overall
I don't see SANS UNDERTALE going insane killing people, cuz even if he DID kill everyone, he knows that the outcome won't matter, he'd either die and everything would reset, or he'd win and everything would reset

This iteration of Dusttale Sans is an absolute meance. Not ONLY did this skeleton shatter the Human Souls, this man really talked about sleeping with Asgore's wife.

Here is my problem, all of the rest of the fan base of Dusttale thinks Dust is evil but he isn’t most think that he doesn’t regret his decision of killing his friends and family..but he does dust isn’t a bad guy he is just thought that getting more LV would give him the one chance to defeat a human. Not a dig at the creator I’m just saying.But this fan game is great 👍🏾

I really like the characterization in this version of dustsans. The original was cool but it didnt really feel like sans whereas this one feels like it could be a real path in the actual game

This is amazing, the fact that Toby becomes the real final boss, as if it were HARD MODE, is quite absurd and hilarious.
I love how he acts serious and kind of his old personality at the same time. It shows how he's still sans but he's not going to slack more then last time. (edit: Also 6:38 Sans just ROASTED asgore there.)

Y’know I think I actually like this version of Dusttale Sans. Maybe not so much in characterization or story (Because we all know those have been bastardized to hell and back) but more so in design. Sans doesn’t have a hoodie over him nor a purple glowing eye or even a Papyrus Ghost head. Sans no longer looks like an edgelord and instead looks the exact same instead with some dust and more or less the same face we’ve come to know only with a more demented expression makes him look *Way* more disturbing then what the original design had in mind.

Honestly... i thought of something interesting for this thing. What if Sans actually won? Like- in the end he just slams you in the wall multiple times like in the original fight, but at the end he just traps you inside a bone cage with a blue bone in the middle so you can't even move the box. And he would say things like:

Может это маленький дефенс просто, потому что у него появляется привычка уклоняться и атаковать, он вообще перестаёт думать о том что он может получить урон, так что его защита может опуститься до базовой.

Ok I’m gonna chime in here and say this… if we consider UT’s lv hp boosts at lv 20 sans would be at 80 hp (because human’s base hp is 20. 99-20=79. Sans base hp is 1 so he would have 80 hp which is 600 lower then papyrus. But I don’t think sans in dusttale would be lv 20.
