This is another brilliant mini , i cant wait to see what you come up with next , i have had to put my crafty stash away for the holidays , but i think i may be tempted to get some back out and have ago at making this . I always make things like this but I use square cards cardstock. your way is so much more cost effective.

Dawn you just amaze me. I really like this, its so verseable.
I realy appreciate the captions with the measurements, your voice is very nice (I could lister to you for hours) but it's nice to see them.
this is style 2. it would be nice to have the links for the others in the series in the info drop down. I've seen others do this. sometimes trying to find another part of a project, or a series on you tube is like looking for an article in last Sundays news paper.

Amazing idea and tutorial! I went out and bought a few folders, but the folders I have found so far in Malaysia are pocket folders. I like the weight of the folders, so will use the pocket folder material for another project...or to make lots of tags and will keep looking for regular file folders. Thanks for the wonderful idea!
Rae from Mandeville Hello Rae, I am sure you could still use the ones you have if the size is right and yes use the pockets for tags or photo mats. There are 6 albums so far in the File Folder Mini Series so lots of ideas to make. Enjoy X!
Hi Dawn! I've just finished my mini album.As fort he file folder you got I could not find here in Sao Paulo , Brazil so I used a recycled paper briefcase. I will need to adjust some of the measurements for the next ones as the pages ended up too narrow (I'll need to crop all the photos) but the project is lovely as it is. Thanks for sharing these tutorials, they're really state of the art teaching.

You do a great job showing us how to do these but have you ever tried only glueing three sides of the back of pages 2 and 3 to leave a space for a top photo mat pull out? Anyway, glad I found your channel. Thank you.

The aim of these albums is to use an office file folder and FREE paper Collections that you get with craft magazines
I did not add a pocket as I did not have enough paper left at the end of the project.

Hi Dawn, I just wanted to say that I have had such a fab time making this project, I to went and bought a pack of 50 file folders.. so have lots of things to find to make with them.. you really are so inspirational just as your name says and have watched nearly all of your videos... so I'm now just restarting at the beginning and making each one step by step.. i have made style 2 and the toliet roll mini book.. Welcome Debbie, great to hear I am inspiring you to get crafty!Yes I can't see why you could not add a few of these together to make a book. I would attach the covers back to back, you could do this just around the edge to make another pocket or cover in glue to make it more sturdy. You may want to add a peice of card/paper to make the spine look neat too.You can always post some pics on my Facebook page,I would love to see how you get on. Dawn
Hello Dawn, This is so cute! I just purchased the Waterfall Pocket Foto Folio from your site, but I don't have the correct sized papers...will have to order them...so in the meantime, I thought I would give this one a try. The main concern I have is that you are using a Straight Cut file folder ...all I have is Legal size, with 1/3rd cut tabs. At about the 17:23 mark in the above video, it looks like what you are cutting off is in fact the Tab...is that correct? If so, then the fact I have only a third tab shouldn't matter...I can just cut it off to begin with...am I correct? (I'm at home with a terrible summer cold, taking all kinds of medicines...so not thinking too clearly!! :-) Thanks for your wonderful tutorials!
+Debbie Williams Hello Debie, sorry to hear you are not feeling so good at the moment. As many file folders come it lots of different sizes this is why I find it easier to give out the measurements. so if you listern to the measurements for the scorelines etc you should be ok. I would cut the file folder to the size of mine to start and then you shoould be alright. I hope you feel better soon . Dawn x
II am new to scrapbooking and this looks WAY to hard.... all that MATH WOW BUT a great idea -- maybe later for me LOL
You will be fine Deborah and it is only a file folder so if it goes wrong it is not too expensive. Many of my crafter followers are newbie and even some non crafters. Just craft along with me step by step and you to can make beautiful mini albums. The great thing about the video tutorials is that you can pause and watch as many times as you like. so go on give it ago!
