I can't tell you how many times I was minding my own business and some borderline or obviously obese woman has walked up to me saying they just want to feed me or I look sick. Meanwhile, I am 5'6" and 130 lbs. I take care of myself as best I can given I have 3 small kids. It's insanely rude. But people in our community think they are being funny and cute putting their own people down cause the rest of us don't fit what black folks should look like to them. I feel even if black folks got the respect we deserve from the rest of the world, we would still be lost as a people because there will always be those who have that divisive attitude.
