Is there a website where you can put the name of your bank or ISA company in and see who is owned by who so you don't get stung by this £85K guarantee?

Avoid the Zopa ISA they make you create Pots for the different tax years, if one Pot is fixed and another one is not you are not allowed to move it to another provider

Really good shout about Trading 212! I was concerned there appeared to be no access security and delving deeper found the setting to enable face recognition. Thanks!

Notice on website you show Halifax regular saver for kids at 5.5%. Do you know if you can put a lump sum in to open it? If not, what would e a good option for kids with a bit of money to be able to put into account and leave for a while?

Hi , does anyone know the max interest you can get on the Lloyds saver account , blue rewards say 5000 max but it’s compound interest isn’t it ?
So what’s the yearly interest amount please ?
Are the linked savers worth it ?
    Thanks in advance

I would avoid the progressive building society regular saver - looks good but the interest rate is variable and they can change it whenever they like

"The sale is still expected to complete in the fourth quarter this year". I actually can't see any upside to this as it will reduce competition.

How do you know if saving online account is genuine. I’ve seen a ford money 2yr bond but am cautious if it genuine.

Hi Andy , I listen and learn from your content thank you .
Have you ever done a video on the max amounts of compound interest, via these regular instant savers attached to bank accounts. I’m wondering what’s the max interest you can earn if you max them out . For example I thought you got the full actual 8%.but my return wasn’t that good.
Are they worth it ? Thanks in advance.

One of your Regular Saver top picks - Progressive Building Society, not one I've ever heard of but looks good! I have the Nationwide 8% variable [£200 max] regular saver coming to it anniversary in September, as well as the Beehive 6% fixed [£250 max]. I'm looking at opening new ones and I was looking at the Club Lloyds one, the idea of a hard credit search has put me off it.
Has anyone used Progressive Building Society products before? are they any good?

Have a read through, I’m going to avoid because the rate can change. I doubt it will stay at 7% for 12 months there other saver products are very low compared to the rest of the market

Just a quick question, does Barclays do a hard check if one opts for Switching deal?

I don't think so. I do remember that Halifax did a hard check on me before.

Yes, any bank that is offering you an overdraft will conduct a hard credit file search.

Not if you lock your sim and don’t display texts on your home locked screen.
A locked sim cannot be put into a new phone or used without knowing your unlock code.
