At the start, he hid himself in ice to make himself be founded by us, and also made himself a target of Gepard which made us meet each other and get in touch with Cocolia. Then he also predicted she would betray us and made us unconscious and brought us to the underworld. He was also there as a key helper during the swarog confrontation. He pretty much guided our path and everything played out exactly how he wanted. Very sus in my opinion

Sampo is getting more sus by the second. In a new quest in 1.2, he sends us a smoke bomb (labelled as a neutron bomb) and a letter saying "Are you having a good time at the Xianzhou Alliance?". Jarilo-VI, a planet where interstellar communication and travel is gone for the last 700 years, yet somehow a person supposedly from there knows what the Xianzhou Alliance is and that the Nameless are there (even though only the Stellaron Hunters know that).
Look at his light cone "eyes of the prey" Or something like It explains an assassination attempt on him But then he looked right at the sniper His awareness of his surroundings is immaculate

I remember a dialogue sometime after the main trio got unconscious and sent to the underground. Some guy (or Nat) mentioned how Sampo isn't local to the underground, seeing how he "just appeared out of nowhere" or something. The chances of him being an overworlder is very slim imo, so he must be also an outsider to Belobog. From that point on I always suspected him.
Sampo is a very Jack Sparrow/Kisuke Urahara-esque character. Having a comedic side of them be their front, and their more cunning and serious side perform its work in peace. Very entertaining.
Aight I’m a bit late to this but fun fact: Sampo can not be rated by the rating pistol, it states the rating is invalid and he causes it to shutdown, sort of how like march does. My theory is that only the exceptionally powerful can’t be rated by the rating pistol (jing yuan also has an invalid rating and who knows what March has up her sleeve) so something is definitely up with him

I remember Epsilon..its a location mentioned in the entry on the Masked Fools via a quote by Epsilon XII superstar Ast Rickley. Sampo connection with Masked Fools is too strong, even the " shadowy comic relief" fits The Elation.

Then I happened upon something on Twitter saying he could be part of Aha's faction.
I don't think that's even possible considering that the Aeons MUST follow their specific path to the end of time or their own demise and they can't deviate, so Sampo being of the nihility path in-game would contradict that concept entirely. I'm convinced he's just directly related to the Stellaron hunters and Elio (either hired or actually part of their crew) which feels more convincing considering he was basically guiding us throughout our whole journey in Belabog. Just my two cents 🤷
from what i know, aeons cannot deviate from their path otherwise they will perish. for example qlipoth is aeon of preservation can only create, preserve and protect. he cannot attack other aeon as it will directly against his path even when nanook keep attacking the world he protect. same with nanook himself, he cannot stop trying to destroy everything because once he stop thinking about destruction and think about something else that is contradicting, he will perish. this is why aeons have follower factions who can deviate from the path, but aeons themself cannot order their follower to deviate, for example if IPC (qlipoth's faction) want to attack the Antimatter Legion (nanook faction) it has to be on IPC own decision. qlipoth cannot order IPC to attack as that is against his own path. so sampo cannot be aeon of elation, he might be a follower of elation. or he is probably a stellaron hunter like the game hinting, there is a stellaron hunter member with codename Sam. after all sampo did what kafka do to astral crew in xianzhou, guiding the MC.

He is probably one of the more powerful Masked Fools ('Likes of us' referring to his other fellow masked fools) , because he is a Etalation character and this might just be how he repays Aha with entertainment of the Trailblazer and his/her crew saving Belabog. Sampo probably just wanted to repay a favor to Aha by doing this, but he still very important because he can just break the fourth wall so easily

My friend made a theory saying Sampo is an emanator of Aha. My friend made a theory saying Sampo is an emanator of Aha. That's why he can do stuff like break the fourth wall, be immune to gas, vanish without making a sound and even never travel to different planets.
He probably act weak to characters like Natasha, Seele and Gepard because his a mask fool who plays with people and finds them funny.
