Nice list. A couple caught my eye, and I've pre-ordered the Outcast Mage. Two questions for you, thought; 1) have you read/reviewed "A Flame in the North" or "The Fall of Waterstone"? I see them on your shelf, and was curious. And 2) Where did you find the gnome? I'm thinking my wife would love one. As always, thanks for your thoughts and ideas. @@RobertSmith-gu7qo I have read and enjoyed both! I don't see many people chatting about them. They really have a mythic feel and you can tell are heavily inspired by lotr but I do enjoy the characters and world building 😁 The gnome came from Kroger, the grocery store!
No Martha Wells? A sequel to The Witch King is coming. She's also working on a new Murderbot but I don't know if the date has been set. A new space opera installment by Elizabeth Bear. Vivian Shaw.…What I want to read are the finale's by Philip Pullman and Tamsyn Muir. Who knows when we'll see either.
@@FormerBipedooh I didn't know the witch king sequel was scheduled for next year, thanks! I'll have to check out the new Elizabeth bear, Ive liked her writing in the past
Thankfully for me there are only a few new books coming out this year that I will make a high priority for myself. Maybe ill be able to catch up on some of my backlog reads.
@@TomOrange that can be helpful! My anticipated list has grown up to 25 already and yeah, that's going to make it hard to find balance with owned tbr and backlist projects.. hmmm
Interest list, just wrapping up the 4th in the sun eater series, this one took a dark turn, after the mostly positive 3rd book, still very good, thinking the 5th will be more positive, tbd..Merry Christmas to you and your family, pet the crew especially chip!
@ good choice I’m enjoying this series, it’s gotten better as it goes along, yet this 4th book is not a happy experience for the protagonist..still good book, however..
