This is so beautiful! I am a beginning spinner and also self taught. The way that you spin is exactly how I do it. It made me feel much better about myself, I must say! Thank you for sharing your process. It is very inspiring!
Hu Sara, I hope you're OK xx ❣️❣️❣️ Thankyou so much for sharing this video podcast, and your process from "Start to Finished Handspun Yarn " It looks amazing and so beautiful. You made me chuckle when you took that "stray bit" out showed it to the camera and then quickly throw it down. Also thanks for sharing your Centre Pull Cake/Ball technique. I usually only make them for small amounts of 2ply Handspun but will definitely be using your technique in future. Thankyou so much for sharing your expertise, you're very much appreciated, for sharing everything you do. ✨️🌟🌞🌞 I don't mind what videos you do has there's always something to learn from them.🙂🤔😊 Hope you have a Wonderful Weekend🔆✨️🌞 Happy Spinning Fibre Friend 🎡🐑🥰 Take care and stay safe Lots of love and Big Hugs Jen xxxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🐈⬛🐈⬛🫂🫂
@The Spinning Sara, Hu Sara, I hope you're OK xx ❣️❣️❣️❣️ Thankyou so much for the Heart ♥ Sending Heart ♥ back to you ❤️💞 Just been re-watching this video podcast and as always picked up something new😊😊 about splitting a Braid that doesn't really have colour repeats in it. I have such a Braid, I think I'm going to try and attempt this method or at least something similar, my Braid is 250gms ( not sure in lbs and ozs)and it's also very long. Thanks again for sharing your video podcasts/tutorials and your expertise, you're very much appreciated 🎉🌟✨️🌞 I hope you have a Wonderful Weekend🌟✨️🌞 Happy Spinning Fibre Friend 🎡🐑🥰 Take care and stay safe Lots of love and Big Hugs Jen xxxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🐈⬛🫂
Hi Sara, thanks for the video. I always learn something from you and you've improved my spinning (wheel and spindles) tremendously. I have sooo many questions, but I'm going to limit myself to two (or maybe three): what was the name of the wheel you spun on? The transcript says "rose" but I imagine that's not its name. Is there any reason you used only one bobbin instead of two for plying? And do you count your turns on your niddy-noddy to know how much yardage you have? Thanks again for all your great videos.🙏🙂
So much fun to see your process. This has me eyeing a braid of Wound Up fiber in my stash and itching to get my hands on it. I am going to be disciplined though and finish plying the 2 pounds of morritt Shetland currently on my bobbins! 🤣.
Hi Sara, awesome video!! I learned so much from splitting the fiber (never seen this method) to plying from center pull ball (again never seen this method). And your finished yarn is beautiful! Looks like you didn’t pre draft or diz your fiber. Was it easy to draft? Does any pre drafting depend on the fiber? Thank you so much for the video!!
Love seeing your process, and the final product is so beautiful
It's beautiful!

Thank you so much for sharing that Lisa! I love that you are self taught too and spin just like me! How cool!!
Great video ~ I’m a new spinner and this was very helpful.

You are so brave!! I commend you for finishing your current spin before starting another one!! What do you plan for your 2 pound Shetland?
@@TheSpinningSara I’m hoping it wants to be a Felix Pullover 🤞🏻.
