I finally made a decision .. Im gonna concentrate on doing the star path and then slowly pick away at ALL of the quests lol cause holy crap there's alot ! lol
I tried that but they all wanted gifts from the new world so I couldn’t progress.
@@Kirsty178 well I guess Ill just have to do the bare minimum and still sorta do what I said LOL ..
I did the same, I finished jack's quests. Most of the starpath and after I will go discover the new isle.
(on day one I just went on the isle to get the hourglass)
Doing that too was feeling overwelmed
Trying to do this also, and bring jack along for gardening.
The favorite food shows hearts swirling around their face after you feed them. That's the best way to know!
i am kinda glad that i am not the only one being overwhelmed with all the new content.

Thank God you're mentioning Favorite food vs other foods! I got into a "online argument " 🤣 with a bunch of Reddit people, so many people saying that the Favorite food does absolutely nothing! Just gives like extra ❤ animation. I was trying to convince them it would help make companion sooner, and so many people said I was crazy and that wasn't true. It was exhausting.
AHHHH That does sound exhausting… probably the same people who get angry about not meeting dreamsnaps requirements but not seeing it’s actually an outfit challenge lol
They do drop things but unfortunately there is something within the game where some critters, on Eternity Isle or the Valley, that no matter if it is their favorite food or a liked food, they just won't drop something not even a dream shard. Been experiencing it for MONTHS myself. Paying attention because I am still in need of the memory shards for feeding them in the Valley.
Which btw, memory orbs in Eternity Isle will fill up spaces in the Valley memories as well as their own, even the splinters of fate drop for the night thorn memory orbs. Surprised no one has made a video about it, not that I have seen yet
Yes noticed this myself too, it was reported as a bug months ago and was supposed to be fixed
Yeah I just started Eternity Isle and fed a monkey for the first time, didn't get anything.?
the spotted capybara seems to be there fridays cause it was shown for me when i played yesterday, and the reason you found two in one biom is simply...its the same then you found before :D you can feed them non stop after the first feed. And mutiple feeds do not drop anything.

I got the classic cobra by feeding it a sand worm the first time and a scorpion the second time. Then I got the classic capybara by feeding it cumin the first time and bamboo the second time.
Loved the video, I was just waiting for you to give us the hints to befriend them 😂❤ I loved the Capybaras and the monkeys, but I'm not gonna lie, I'm having some trouble with the snakes 😅 I have ophidiophobia so everytime I see one sliding away I just have a shiver and try to look away, but is hard 😂 Loving the expansion so far, a bit overwhelmed with the amount of things to do, but loving every little part of it ❤

I’ve been giving the monkeys banana splits and I don’t get anything from them either. I’m not sure if the new update pack, the creatures give you anything. Then again, I’m still learning as I play more throughout the new world
MrStarInSky thanks for sharing this video! When I first tried to feed a monkey in Eternity Isle, I fed it a banana and it spit in my face too! I love monkeys and wish they weren’t as needy as the ravens with loving stared meals 😆!

I'm confused, i befriended the regular capy by feeding it bamboo. But I'm definitely having issues with all the animals not dropping anything or completing achievements, both expansion and the valley. Sometimes they drop and sometimes they don't
I’m ever so new to this game y’all , but when i do have this game I really would like to have y’all over to my town.
But i just want y’all to know that , im gonna be working to make my town to be as a home for all of y’all.
So y’all can hangout with me as much as y’all like , but if y’all wanna make something while your there im gonna be putting down a workbench for ya to work on.

The gray spotted capybara is in the lagoon all day today(Friday). Can’t find it but game says it’s today and the location.
Oh wow. I thought monkeys were just any 5 star meal. Will need to pay a bit more attention to that
Rupunsel tells you monkeys favourites are desserts so the banana split is kind of true.
i was able to feed the gray capybara on the 8th (yesterday) for me

I think monkeys must have multiple favorite meals because I've gotten presents from them from feeding them both banana pie and banana ice cream.
Yes, those are liked foods, but not favorite food
You get cumin for liked dream shards for favorite
When I feed the cobra sandworms, they drop a reward and Classic became my companion after two feedings.
I gave the monkeys pastery cream with fruit and it showed it was their favorite food too 😅
I have also had issues of the animals not giving my any rewards for feeding even in the odd area.
Eggs actually make sense for snakes because a lot of pet snakes are egg eating snakes i want one o e day
there is a monkey in the secret area with the "time-bench" but it is a hassel to feed, because it often bugs-out...
I seen the gray spotted capybara yesterday, (can’t remember where) only one I need for Mirabel quest is the red and white striped one.
the monkey you couldn't find was probably in Eve's waterfall hideout lol

I’m curious. Can anyone tell me what happens if you feed the monkeys banana ice cream or pie instead? someone test this..
So these monkeys are pissing me off… the monkey at the docks and the 2 monkeys in the overlook area are glitching out every time I get to the approach point to where they bounce in the wall and back out somewhere else in the area and you have to go through the chase step all over again never letting you feed it… and I can’t figure out how to put a ticket for it or something cause I want them to fix it
MrStar, rather than playing Red Light Green Light with the snakes... try just going up to them with your speed boost. ^_^
The critters not dropping things is a bug.
did you ever find the red and beige monkey...? i have been trying for weeks and its never there..i see all the other ones but not this one..and this is the one i want the most

Cabibaras love turnips. It shows right on their screen when you approach them
the critters are bugged so youre not going to get gifts rn :(

Did you get the classic monkey? I did, but it's not in my companion's inventory.. Any idea why?

Yeah, that’s been broken for quite awhile… it’s a known issue, for like the last several updates. In the main valley, at least for me, usually one of the two critters in each biome will give me an item and the other gives nothing. That so far seems to be the case here too. Again, that’s for me… others results may vary. But it’s super annoying.
Ahh ok. Now you mention it, i have fed some and not gotten anything but i thought it was just because i already had them as companions. Interesting
