However, for new, unfamilliar songs like these, we don't have a past reference to compare them to, so they feel fresh, new and exciting.

I remember my (back then) friend telling me how much Taylor was more into H word than he was into her, and I think, yeah, she always loves with her whole heart, she puts her heart on the sleeve, so when she gets hurt, she hurts more than anyone else
and it's all evident in her songs, how when she loves someone she gives them her everything, and isn't that wonderful? and powerful? to give your self to every person you fall in love with? that's so scary, loving whole heartedly, people don't do it these days because they're scared of getting their hearts broken, but not Taylor (at least, what is evident from her songs)
