2:38:20 Brendan saying "those takedown count" and Matt tries to correct him and he says "they still score points" 🤔 Unbelievable. How does Brendan NOT know the unified rules. He must still be stuck way in the past and applying the old rules. Because under the unified rules, takedowns mean absolutely nothing alone. It's a change of position. The only thing that matters is if damage is done in the position or an attempt to end the fight. Otherwise the takedown is irrelevant in scoring. For a guy who constantly covers the sport, there's no reason he shouldn't know that.
And he’s gonna stick with constant “Well I was in the UFC so I know fighting and you don’t” remarks overrr and over and over again. Dude doesn’t even understand the basic rules and scoring system

I have to admit. For years I couldn’t get into Chris but after seeing him for the last few weeks on TBN I have a whole new perception of him. Such a funny guy!
I love how these fight companions can really show you how a person's personality is. I never loved or hated mattreon but after seeing this podcast you get to see how his personality is for 3 hours and it seems like a really cool down to earth guy. I hope they have him back again.
