nice vid, thankyou for sharing. I use the hillbilly frying pan and camp oven with the Ozpig and its a good combination. Hill billy gear is big and bulky

Nice way to spend the day! Looks amazing! Thanks for the comparison. Camp cooking not big in the UK since the 1700s. It rains. A lot. Bought an Ozpig and looking forward to learning how to use it, thanks for the tips.

Thanks, we will be doing more cooking on the "pig" in the near future, so please subscribe and click the bell icon to see that when we do it... You will get a massive amount of use from the Ozpig, it really is a great unit with its only drawback being its weight.. Hope you are enjoying our adventures :) Thanks for commenting.

Lovely video guys. Amazing comparison. Just came across your channel. Shame we can’t get away in the lockdown but seems like you are making the most of it. Nice spot where you are, good place to be during the lockdown. Cheers, Dan!

Thanks for the comparison and recipes. We bought our Oz Pig at a motorhome show in the UK more than a decade ago.. Used it for everything from roasting chestnuts at a Christmas rally, to breakfasts, dinners and as a campfire. We love ours! We sold the motorhome but couldn't part with our OP. So now we have it at our little safe haven in France. Despite having a gas griddle, Stone BBQ and a stone Pizza oven, our little piggy is still a favourite. I take your point about it being heavy but, honestly, I think it's worth every bit of it. I have Freelander 2 and thinking of converting it into a micro-camper, just me an our two whippets, maybe a new life for our OP? Cheers!

Yes, they are great, I totally agree with you, hence why we have the pig and the Hillbilly, covers every eventuality... Great idea with the microcamper :)

@@Richard-Tanya Hiya! I must confess though, that you Aussies and the Sarf Africans are way ahead on the Freelander camping. Most of my ideas originated from Down Under. Despite the lovely second home I really do miss the RV. Just being able to get in and make it up as you go along, especially in Europe where they are much more friendly to camping than they are in Blighty.... I do have a question, hope it's ok to ask. What fuel do you find is best? I was thinking of charcoal as it would pack down a little easier than carrying wood in the Freelander. Ex

@@emmascully9850 We live on 5 acres with 3 acres of bushland so wood is the natural fuel to use as its free, however if we are trying to keep weight down, we do use charcoal, we get it in boxes here and its in hexagon tube shapes...I find that works really well :) Its cleaner burning (less smoke) cleaner, lighter and smaller to carry too.
