- A light scuffle broke out between Jaya Bachchan and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar over her surname row on August 05. Jagdeep Dhankhar said that she could get her name changed as there is a process of getting the name changed. To this Jaya Bachchan said that this “drama” has been started recently.

And that mp on the chair that day who first announced her full name, did so only procedurally as was mentioned before him (maybe just to be procedurally correct while presiding over the house proceedings which is not his routine job).
