    In this week's "Treatment Tuesday" Dr. Scott Hoar of Mobility 4 Life Chiropractic and Sports Medicine we sit down with Amy Good, a gym owner and former professional cyclist that's been dealing with long standing lower back issues that have been recently starting to cause hip stiffness when she's running and training. She's been through a bad experience with chiropractic adjustment in the past and is fearful of "getting her neck cracked". Check out the full video to see how the treatment goes.

    You are so much better than the other Chiro's that do the same exact thing every time!!! Stick with your channel and educate the masses what Chiro's SHOULD be doing!!

    I am a RMT studying Manual Osteopathy and this guy seems amazing! I would go to this guy if he was in my area. He is super knowledgeable and thorough and seems very safe and considerate. He gives me faith in the good chiropractors.

    When muscle testing the Trapezius muscle why would the assumption be to adjust the C4 vertebra if it is innervated by the Spinal Accessory Nerve which has contributions from C1-C5?

    Hey, Dr. Scott. I was curious, do you change your finger positions during adjustments? I was aware you are adjusting in order to allow the body to use it's skeleton as a complete structure. Could you explain the variety of motions you are using? I can't think the exact same push could fix every problem. Is there a goal position for the joint to sit, or is it more about how the patient moves?

    • @ScottHoar
      @ScottHoar  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I change hand positions based on whatever segment I’m looking to adjust. L2 is different from L4 and so on.

    i have extreme pain from piriformis . i am seeing a chiro on mon. does the adjustme nts take away the pain for good or are you still suffering with piriformis? how many chiro visits did it take to start to feel better or did it make it worse?

  • @itsallgood224

    As Amy noted, as an athlete/fitness professional she didn't realize her body was that out of alignment. Why I am a big fan of routine adjustments as a preventative maintenance measure- so the body does not have a chance to get out alignment! Also Doc do you have any ART (graston/scraping) segments planned? You had performed ART(graston/scraping) on my calf to break up scar tissue from an old injury, which gave me mobility back in that calf and ankle!

    • @ScottHoar
      @ScottHoar  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes actually there’s ART in this video. We just tend to have shorter, more “fast-forwarded” segments when doing myofascial release or Graston. I’m not familiar with your screen name, who am I talking to?

      itsallgood224 I tend to think if I’m not in pain then my body is functioning as it should. But now I realize that’s not always the case. So happy I finally got in to see Dr. Scott (after knowing him for at least 10 years). Felt totally comfortable having him work on me!
