All OFDC locations are going down the drain. Earlier Odhisa was a go to destination for Bengalis. Now the government owned Otdc panthanivas, all over orrisa is in dis repair. The OFDC eco resorts are also going down the same roads. Faced similar issues in Patora nature camp, where I booked two ac rooms and ended up with one ac room and a non ac tent in summer. Sidhumala Nature camp was in a very bad condition. Bat shit everywhere. You have to sweep and make ur own room. Koraput, one of the more expensive stays, has similar issues. Nursighanath Nature camp. Clogged toilet. Earlier we got emails with feedback forms. Now you don't. Sending an email doesn't work. No one gets back to you. No matter how much you love or hate the Bengal government, I would say tourism wise, WBTDC hotels are light years ahead of what I have seen across orrisa.
