- This year’s session at Royal Hills went down at the end of September. Having the Royal Hills playground to our disposal for 5 days with a rider list this heavy was an unreal experience. The main change from the previous years was that, in addition to the Fest lines, we now had two easier lines shouldering the Fest lines which allowed us to ride in less good weather conditions. Instead of waiting for the wind to drop, we were having a blast lapping the easier lines until the conditions were good enough to ride the main set.

It's beyond me how the Fest series doesn't get more coverage. Awesome production of the sickest format of riding. Wish I'd had the skill, talent and balls to continue to ride this hard back when I was younger. Still vividly recall 15y old Nico Vink tweaking his bike over the biggest jump at the Namur DH course, leaving every other (and all of them older) rider in awe with his style and talent. It's amazing to see to what extremes you have taken mountainbiking. This video puts a smile on my face. And with all the talented riders from Belgium represented, I can't help but wonder why THIS isn't on national tv instead fucking football. I mean, a rider like Tommy G competing at Rampage, and no mention of this in our newspapers...!? You guys are killing it out there and and make me proud to be Belgian! Keep up this incredible riding and most of all, enjoy it as much as you can (especially for those of us who can't)!!! Congrats on the wonderful video. And thanks for letting us all enjoy a little piece of the pie!🍰
