Got 48th with Trunks, I used your list as a template and it worked out really well! Kinda sad bc the last loss was definitely my own fault but was a fun event overall despite 87% of the room being topku lol

I also have questions about the Vegeta build. I am also not thinking Vegito is necessary when you have Mai that does it for 1 and is 10k. You can already remove everything.
I think your errata is good. Maybe even just play a 3 cost or less 20k instead of any 20k could solve most current and future problems

Being a red main since box 1 and seeing green players eating the dirt this new format brings me too much joy
My personal errata would be to give 4e kefla the same condition as ginyu, can’t play kefla the turn.
Wouldnt really do that much, the most used combo was kefla into Gohan anyway and with the last 3 you go SR Goku.
Need a Limit maybe, only 3/2 4e Keflas in Deck

I wonder what the next color/leader to come up next set to make this irrelevant like how gohan was done and all the complaints on how green was to strong far above everything else smh...i didn't think we could get a leader to stirr up all that commotion and bring , all that came with that this soon , why no 1 say anything 2 weeks ago, the sets was fully revealed but waited till we. Got the first stream of events to mention after the fact.. figured power creep woud be paced spread out until set 4 or 5 were we have enough card pool to make a good assessment about it. I wonder i can see the complaints and at the same time the want to be a prisoner of the monent and want to take a step back and look at things in a wider lense and ride the same wave of opionions and properly make my own. People compared it one piece white beard. Bandai let it rock to set 5, events was still capping out, and wasn't as much of a factor, same thing with U7 goku going into set 18 for masters, people wanted that banned, gamma banned , trunks vegeta banned. A lot of rage when nothing happened, but we found out, those became irrelevant as the next pool of cards opened up new possibilities. But atlast in short ...rinse , wash , and repeat, and too soon.
Yeah... I guess I'm not touching this game until set 3 comes out lol. Sure Green was the best last format, but it wasn't this busted.
Won 5 out of my 6 games against topku with beerus. Noticed that he is a very good counter against topku at least for me.

Set 1 was. Green meta everyone talks abt it. Set 2 red meta everyone still talk abt it… wait until set 3 maybe blue or yellow..
At least wait until everyone optimize other color deck and start killing topku. Like last set 1 everyone stoping Green color…

I dont think its up to bandai tbh, topku is definetly OP but not unbeatable, it just requires those who are not playing topku to build decks with countering the king as its top priority. Sometimes playing a deck so strong is not even optimal because it polarizes the meta in such a way that everyone is gonna build a deck specifically to beat you. I really wanted to see what the players below top 16 were playing to know for sure. For all i know it could be a bunch of cell games arena cells (which is auto lose tbh), gero's lab 17s or even, god forbid, full aggro SS vegetas. If people continue to try to play their own game and hope they outvalue topku with it, they will continue fail miserably.
Just like one piece, green run sets 1 and red takes over set 2. Nobody complained about green set 1, but everyone is complaining set 2 about red lmao
Green wasn't this one sided. Yellow was there in the top and near the end there was an increase in trunks decks. But yellow and green were very good then set 2 comes out, and red can end the game by turn 5 when most decks.

Bandai has to do something or their game will die. Having a deck be 87% of your top cut and 83% of the field is not sustainable. They didn't design the game for 1 deck to be that way. This is beyond Tier 0 format. This is the worst representation in Dragonball history Masters or FW. Mecha had 3 different variants and could be contested by SS3. Gogeta and Syn combined which is 2 different decks did not have this level of representation.
Both Kefla and TopKu need to be banned. They just should have never been made. The issue with Kefla is the value generated from her. Her costing 1 more doesn't solve how inherently dumb the card is. Because they exist, Red is now consumed into one set of play lines. Topku could awaken at 2 for this effect, but honestly should just be banned. And costing less period is the problem. You are still playing broken 4 drops for 2 energy. While killing cards and gaining other effects. There isn't a way to balance the effect. Just ban them both. And Kefla is too broken to be left as she is. She should have negated the incoming cards effect.
All this money I spent on Cell and rebuilding Broly for set 2, just to know it's pointless to try.
I can’t wait for this leader to get banned and replaced with a more balanced version. Just like what they did with Sakazuki in OPTCG. This level of overwhelming representation cannot be healthy and would not be tolerated in other TCGs.
Until it’s fixed, I won’t be aiming for competitive play. I have enough to do with MTG and OPTCG. This is unhealthy.
people complaining about topku and all ive seen in dbs fw is any deck can in fact beat any deck.... there is no deck that wins the game for you by any means people need to get over it topku is not a tier 0 deck as it can lose to any deck given the situation tier 0 decks just dont lose at all unless its against tier 0

There is a problem with balance if top 16 decks consist of 15 red decks and 14 of them are one leader.
