I want to say a big thank you Randal and Michelle. This have been amazing videos and a great build. I have watched every video and many more than once. I just received the book. Im buying items now, have everything for my trailer except the steel which I will be getting next week. Your videos have me highly prepped for my build. Im in Alabama too btw! Thanks again!!
i just started on the same tear drop frame. . i got the book full of information. i got 2x2 tubbing also for the frame. you do a good job on the videos.
Tony is in our FB DIY teardrop camper group he is one of our guru's. I wish I had the book when I built my first 4 x 8 but I figured it out and since I have built 6 campers with out any plans and can't wait to build number 7. Very nice trailer frame it looks great
That is something a little different but very cool. I love making something out of nothing (sort of) Great DIY project that you should be able to enjoy for many years to come. Great job so far.
You might try TH-cam on mixing paint. I mix lacquer thinner with canned Rustoleum 1 to 1 with a splash of hardener. It sprays like a dream and the hardener gives it a high gloss shine.
I was thinking of using 2 x 3 for my trailer, if you could do it over again would you still use the 2x2?Thank you for all your help I’ve learned so much from your channel
Thank you so much for the compliment! Thank you for watching and responding. The 2x2 has show zero flex. I would definitely use the 2x2 again. My next trailer will be a little bigger and heavier, I will probably use 2x3 but the trailer will probably be 1000lbs heavier.
Great build. Subscribed and have watched a couple other videos. thanks for sharing your build videos. Which FB group are you a member of? there are a few out there. I am planning to start a build myself, but imaging more of a foxtail build than traditional teardrop. keep posting.

That’s awesome! Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad you found the videos useful. Where in Alabama?
This is a very helpful video. I am glad you focused a bit on building the frame. Other channels don't do as much. Thank you
