I have a 2012 GTL, I'm 60 years old 5'6" and with normal motorcycle boots I am flat footed, i cam out of a sweeping corner at 200 kph (according to the police officer :)) thank goodness he was in a good mode only a $300. Canadian fine. Took it across all 10 Canadian provinces and no issues, doing again this year (heading to the Yukon from the Atlantic side of the country)
Very nice. Love this show- and the big beemer sounds fan-fucking-tastic. Set of full titanium pipes on it, and it'll outshine the old M3's for sure. What a lovely engine. I'd love to see an "HP6" version of it, without the luggage, stripped down, and made for "hyper-sporttouring".. In the same fashon Honda stripped down the goldwing and created the F6B- I'd love to see BMW do something like that to the big GT. Maybe call it the K1600GT-S

Ha ha ha ha. whats the point of hanging that skinny arse off the side of a Sherman tank. The only thing I've seen this guy thrash is the engine and probably crosses the finish on cold tyres. Interesting films though.
My 2012 K1600gt is running strong with 60,000 miles. It's an amazing motorcycle!

My k1600 gt 2017 sport version I don't even take boxes off but I just eat the corners like I'm on my S1000RR , even better handling .
