Rode Reading Anthracite for years and TCTRI , Man i tell ya that place is the shit !!. My Uncle Don Zechman opened Zechmans Cycle Center in Pine Grove PA. Been ridin' since i'm six and still do !! Ride Hard BUT safe .. Man i miss PA.
Me too. What do u ride? I do a fair bit of single track. Have the black fuel mapping in it. Need to change the gearing n put a heavier flywheel in it to make it solid I think.
@@terryn8056 Mostly motocross i use the agressive plug pretty much exclusively. Ive taken it on trails a few times and like it but its not ideal. The changes you mentioned would definitely be good for single track
No mods to the bike. I usually don;t mess with the engines or anything. Just suspension. Its a lot of clutching in the rocks on this bike. We are Riding Famous Reading Outdoors in Schuylkill County Coal Country!
Best bike ever your going to love that thing! We have a lot of faster trails here in Michigan and these things are the best bike out there! (My Opinion)
Interesting ! I have a 2020 KLX 300R, and I gotta say...I'm just about ready to upgrade. Don't get me wrong, it's been great...taught me how to ride but, I want something a little more powerful, quicker, and ultimately something LIGHTER. Good lord the KLX300R is like 280 pounds.. I'm over it. Been looking at this 250FX and the KTM 350 XCF.
Awesome video! When the going gets slow and technical are you having any flame outs? Are you running a Rad. fan? Thinking about getting this bike or a 350xcf.
yes, I do stall a lot, and I used to on my WR250F too... but I just uploaded some new maps to the ECU and its much smoother now in the tight stuff. I find myself crawling rocks in 3rd gear alot, might be why I stall out. Its gonna take some tuning thats for sure. Also, the hard start that plagues these bikes still seems to be there. Rumor was it was eliminated with new bike firmware. No Fan yet, will see how hot it gets. I'd rarely boil over my WR250f, so I will see how this goes in the summer. The bike is a blast.
The gytr flywheel helps. Probably the best $ I spent on my 20 was getting the suspension setup for lower speed trails like you are riding. Really fun bike though, I love mine.
@@PennsylvaniaEnduroRiding Was just about to ask where this was, I live in Maryland now and we have Zero places to ride. I moved here for my job from SC. More places to ride there than you can imagine.
@@PennsylvaniaEnduroRiding I live just South of Westminster, your trails look pretty fun to ride. I may have to make a trip up. I haven't been able to find any place to ride in over a year. The more videos I watch of the yz250fx, the more I like the bike.
I bought the Enduro Engineering Evolution Debris Deflectors 1 1/8" Pro-Taper/Renthal Fat Bars/Neken - Rocky Mountain ATV part# 1413430017. Now, here is the problem... I use the tapped screw-in bar ends and the bars ID is to large for the common products out there. So I have to run the G2 Threaded Handguard Mounts (Renthal Twinwall - P/N: 60-320 ) available at www.g2ergo.com/
Will dealers order one for you? I waited 2 months after ordering. It was the last one the dealer could get. Freight prices doubled. Even KTMs and husky’s are sold out.
@@PennsylvaniaEnduroRidingI ordered the same ones, did you have to remove your left foot peg and kickstand to get the left side on? I wasn’t able to get mine to fit flush without removing the foot peg and kickstand mount... I don’t know if they sent me the wrong ones cause the packaging says for yz450 ...
I had a 2005 Yamaha WR250F - steel frame. That bike reliably did everything I asked it to, really amazing woods bike, but heavy. All my videos are me riding it and putting it through the paces. Hopefully this FX is just as reliable and tough.
@@PennsylvaniaEnduroRiding it will be for sure 👍🏻 just make sure you do that air filter and oil religiously man shell run!!! Also i suggest PC racing air filter dust covers they are my best friend.

Buy the 450 if u can there much better than the 250
That’s awesome, congratulations on the new bike , hopefully see you out there
Bike looks and sounds amazing. I love that loop in the beginning, we hit it everytime. This Snow sucks, I’m itching to get up there again.
Such a cool bike 👍 and no problem lugging that thumper in the single track

Made any adjustments to the compression/rebound on suspension or riding stock settings?
I softened everything by 5-6 clicks. Really helped. Suspension is real stiff!
Pretty bike, I am sure it works well, for a 4t....lol this would definitely be my go to for xc racing.
Hey sweet bike! Is this AOAA? If so...where can I find these spots on the map?
We ride Famous Reading Outdoors mostly.
Just bought one what is the size of handle bar l want to put in handguards
