YEAH!!! Stanley Roberts is BACK!!! Good vibes in independent reporting!! You'll be the Nor Cal of 911 Video News, only better cause you are here! Be safe and take care!
In my late teens and early 20s, I got the "opportunity" to meet a lot of CHP officers, and I can say that every single one of them were extremely nice and very professional. I will always back my CHP!
Yeah right...always watching. CHP is almost never out here on these highways. I'm a truck driver and pass through quite often. These highways are easily the most dangerous in America. We are talking live deathmatches on the road. Its pretty nuts. CHP ONLY SHOWS UP WHEN THE ACCIDENTS HAPPEN. Get out there and make these roads safer......
Holy fuck! Mother Effin Stanley Roberts is back in the bay doing ride alongs, now every day is a cat and mouse game, NEW GAME RESET! MIND YOUR P'S & Q'S PEOPLE GAME ON!
CHP officer seemed nice. My most recent negative experience with CHP is early this year out on 175 east of Hopland. One lied about how I drove and attempted multiple times to get me to incriminate myself. I am so glad your back. Your very talented at what you do and I admit it, I watch your segments often for years.. It's ok if I disagree with your non stop praising of law enforcement...where is the face covering? I really hope this was filmed before Feb 2020.
It's not lying just because they have a different view of how you are driving. You think you drive perfectly, clearly the officer did not. It's also their job to get you to incriminate yourself. That's why 90%+ of US Convictions are from plea deals not trials.
Sorry but you can always tell when it's a pissed off black guy. On the other hand, the guy that got hit, I know that feeling. A young woman talking to the passenger ran into the back of my car. I could see her coming & kept my brake lite blinking but nothing slowed her down. :(
My long-term viewership does not dilute my opinions that: ■ speed enforcement should be reduced or cancelled for the duration of the pandemic ■ the officers should have worn masks when communicating with the drivers
@@Alex1891 *_"speed enforcement should be reduced or cancelled for the duration of the pandemic"_* Absolutely BAD idea! Speeding has increased dramatically since the pandemic began. We need the enforcement now more than ever. The risk of COVID transmission is extremely low for such a brief limited outdoors contact. I wouldn't worry much about that. When I'm hiking, I find it silly when people put their masks on when we pass each other on the trail because we're already at least 6 feet apart, we're outside and there wouldn't be enough virus particles to cause any meaningful transmission, so I don't bother with my mask when hiking; only where it actually matters and when required by law.
@@BadDriversOfNapa Speeding has definitely increased. But speed enforcement is like putting out a fire without addressing why it happened in the first place. People are increasingly broke and therefore stop caring. We need a stimulus check now and for people to have something to lose.
@@Alex1891 According to surveys, people are speeding more now because they think they can get away with it and because the roads are emptier. Lack of money wasn't mentioned as a reason. I think people do care when they get pulled over. I've never had a ticket in my life, but I know from other peoples' word that getting tickets is inconvenient. Even if people didn't care about the fine because they're so broke that it doesn't matter anymore, there's still the stress and lost time of being pulled over, trip to jail if they have warrants, the inconvenience of going to court if they fight the citation, the points on their record, the long-term increase in their insurance rate, the loss of license and impounding of vehicle if they've racked up enough tickets (paid or unpaid), etc. Yeah, there are still deterrents to speeding. If they stop enforcing it, it will get even worse. I have mixed feelings about stimulus checks. People that didn't need them, got them against their will and you can't just return it. It's great for the economy short-term, but horrible for the economy in the long-term and just adds to our massive national debt. Taxes will need to be raised to pay for all that. If we do it again, it should be done on a sliding-scale based on income and cost-of-living for the area, so that those who need it most, get more and those who need it less, get less. Above a certain cut-off, based on state-level numbers, none. Anything more begins resembling socialism.
Ooo, snap I see we got a contender for the Angry Elmo awards!
