I think the problem was that the cards were too generous and it was a little too different from what had been done before in the series since it threw out badges, normal attacks, and xp system and a nice story which is kind of depressing considering how everything else in the game felt pretty good like the jokes and places
This was great and I love that there were English translations along with the original Japanese text. That's really thoughtful for those of us that can't read kanji. ^w^
I dont wanna insult the animator or sth since this is really well animated and i know how much work animation is but god this slow, it all feels like when you are lagging in a video game and its also kinda boring to see the same 3 attacks from kirby all the time

Sometimes when kirby attacks he doesn't move his feet. Another problem is that most of the movements are a bit too slow. The art is good and I like the effects since it captures the game good but the movements are a bit janky and slow.
The animation is very charming, but the only things I'd like Nintendo to take away from this is the idea of a Kirby RPG at all (which is HAL's responsibility) and the action commands on the Hammers. Also the individual health bars being numbers instead of just how coloured in they are. As for Paper Mario, the mechanics are otherwise just Sticker Star. The way that the second Supplex would always skip over the first Waddle Dee and do a little damage to Dedede instead of finishing off the Waddle Dees annoys me to no end. There's also the issue that Dedede spawns the Waddle Dee's too frequently giving the player few opportunities to attack him, expressly considering Sticker Star's targeting mechanics. I also think the UI is a little clunky. I don't think Nintendo should take notes, possibly.
I think they really should take notes in that they should tell hal to revive the paper kirby-idea xD(I think it was planned for kirby gamecube which is a cancelled game that got replaced with return to dreamland/adventure wii) we really want it lol

So this is not a hate comment, but its a feedback Well, i rly saw some pontential in this kind of paper like stuff on kirby, but some things just dont fit in,like paper are supposed to be chibby looks like paper mario, and kirby is perfect but king dedede, like his eyes dont match with the paper style, wich is the black dot with white shine,his head looks kinda lazy,and the mask like the jaw is not glued to the "upper part", it moves the jaw when he moves, well i just expect some corrections like i said but if u want to stay with this design i understand!(i can help with the design if you want to!) -Alvaro_balu Ps. The art is good and I like the effects since it captures the game good but the movements are a bit janky and slow.

Throw Kirby is an ability. It was later renamed to Suplex in Kirby Super Star.
