There is something about taping the edges of watercolours, instant framing when you peel the tape away. And Gaza is always on my mind too. I think so many of us are in disbelief that this could happen in full view of the world, and continues to play out. Horrified and angry. Thank you for your beautiful videos, I find them calming, inspiring, uplifting and honest.

Poor Quentin, I hope he’s feeling better now ❤️ It’s just horrible when they get ill, nothing has ever made me feel more helpless than having a sick dog (in my personal life at least) 😢. Hope you’ve recovered from worrying as well. I am also reading Doppelganger atm, talk about feeling helpless 😵💫 The book is so intriguing, but I’m struggling a bit, simply because my brain is suffering from a severe case of reality fatigue 😩 There’s so much disturbing shit going on that some days (most days) I literally cannot take it anymore and my brain just shuts down when I try to read about current topics 😣 I love, love, love your new landscape paintings 😍 can’t wait to see the full set!
Reality fatigue - I so know what you mean. Things are really crumbling, it's a tough time to be alive and take it all in. It's a privileged position to be in, for sure, but I do need breaks, to just pretend all the disturbing shit isn't happening, to return to a more ignorant time at least for a while. Our Frenchie has a similar communication style when something's up - the big eye stare! 👀 I think he has something similar to Quentin's injury going on with his hip every now and then - the vet has never been able to figure it out, so we know it's nothing significant and thankfully it only usually lasts a day or so. Hopefully it's a similar story for your little one 🧡

I really felt for you - I’ve been through the wringer with my darling ball of fluff lately, and it’s so horrible feeling so powerless and knowing something’s wrong but not knowing what it is. Basically turns out my girl was born with kneecaps that are too big for her sockets, so she was having all kinds of issues, but she’s doing so much better atm. We love our animal friends so much, don’t we? I hope you’re feeling a bit better, don’t forget to be kind to yourself and take it easy while you’re both recovering ❤️

Yes it was - I just finished it. It was "Summer of my Amazing Luck" - I think it was her debut? It was quite slow but I loved the last third of the book. Something about her stories and characters that I really love -wholesome and gritty at the same time?!
I think there's a vanlife product out there where it's like a pop up shower for privacy! Maybe you'd use your shower more if you had a privacy screen? 😊 thought I'd suggest it
I think the main concern with showering is where does the water go?! So you have to be somewhere pretty remote so the water has a chance to wash away before anyone sees, and also use a bio soap that doesn't harm the environment. So mostly it's just easier to find a public shower. I really did think we'd use our shower more than we do!
I've been feeling a lot of tenseness in my shoulders and neck lately too! I'm sure my posture is bad and working at a computer all day doesn't help. I need a massage!
Same! A massage would be so great. I have awful posture, van life is really doing a number on my back - no space to stretch and I'm always hunching doing work eeeek!
