    Love the tropical music in the background the whole time! Hehe - the most crazy part is no roads are really marked instead of in the city centers... if you're lucky! No speed limits unless in the city, either!

    Went to St. Lucia on my honeymoon. Loved it! At first from the airport to Castries kind of disappointed...the houses, etc. But, got over it and understood the culture. I want to visit again...often go to google maps just to view the island (weird?). I could move there...and start a few Churches for my denomination. Relaxing atmosphere in contrast to the US.

      What is it about the houses? Because of how some look? There are some pretty beautiful houses in some parts. You should have entered some communities if you didn't. Esp the quiet ones. They have some great houses. But idk if u mean the house u lived in. Glad u enjoyed your stay. Come back again. ☺

      Marcus Carter hey I don't know what your denomination is, but they already have their own churches there.

    I went St Lucia in June 2022, I loved it so much I’m going back in January 2023 for my birthday as a solo trip! I want to drive in St Lucia but I’m nervous as the roads are quite narrow and it’s a pretty mountainous island. But I want to conquer my fear of driving in a different country!

    The difference is that there is no stress just drive and relax and stop anywhere and you will be welcome, St Lucia Nice

    Driving here dosent seem too bad, nothint compared to jamaica/even some US cities. I personally wouldnt be used to the hills but overall insanely beautiful. My dream is to one day live there.

    Whew! The wife was nervous, I can tell. You're a good driver mate. You took on those St.Lucia roads like a champ. I can tell you spliced and edited the video. One moment you driving down the Morne and the next, you're near Dennery. Good stuff. Is there a part two? I'll subscribe to you. I know this video is nine years old already. Hope you're ok.

    AWESOME! I'm glad I am not the only one who loves to do this! There was a taxi driver named Fish when I was there 20 years ago. I wonder if he is still around. I think he was based out of Castries.

    When mom went to St. Lucia, she said the driving there was nuts. O.o They are great drivers, but the rules of the road are nuts! You only watch out for the vehicles in front of you. That's it. You DO NOT watch behind you. Apparently it's like that in most overseas countries outside of the West. o.o'

    • @Dinty51
      @Dinty51 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      DaWhiteWolffie isn't St Lucia a part of the west?

    • @DaWhiteWolffie
      @DaWhiteWolffie 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah. So that means St. Lucia drivers are like nonwestern drivers? I dunno.

    we weren't able to get a video of our drive from the airport to choc bay, had quite a few close calls though, nothing major with there driving though and the views took your mind away from the 60 min ride in blistering humidity, decided to take the helicopter transfer back though, almost just as hair raising in itself, have posted a video up of that too now.

    No difference in those Roads from Mexico or Greece. (Been there, done that...) LOL Except... leftern drive. How do you manage as "European"leftern drive? SIMPLE: DRIVE LEFT; WATCH YOUR RIGHT!
    This way, I have managed beautifuly 10yrs driving in England - Best advice ever given to me from an English cab driver before I picked up my car from a car dealer...

    I visited St Lucia, last summer 2018, and went around the island,, need whole day, very tiring trip take short trip would be better, also went to see the dead volcano spewing sulphur(hydrogen sulphide smell is everywhere overpowering can cause headache to be careful . ) it has rain forest has as well desert-like climate due to high mountain range which block the humid and rain on one side, dangerous hairpin curves,mountains which only St lucians can drive, not Canadians. St Lucian follows the English way not the American way,they are trying to talk and pronounce like England people and regard the other people's English inferior. will find fault with your English accent, I did not see any agriculture workaround, because they are colonized and don't know, but they eat rice and they totally rely on tourist. the Atlantic side has good beautiful sandy beaches, close to the airport but the west side is all rocky beaches, the landscape is limestone and not good. not good for bathing. people are friendly and of good nature, safe to walk around not like jamica.
