- Cameron Hörst shares his technique for training compression strength. He demonstrates both climbing-specific and generalized exercises for developing strength through the shoulders, arms, and upper torso. Invest just 15 to 20 minutes into these exercises, two or three days per week, and you'll soon be slapping and compressing up harder boulders and routes!

You're welcome!
Very cool. Never considered training this isometrically. Makes so much sense! Look forward to adding this to the training regimen!
Yup! Training this isometrically is the way to go. More videos to come!
@@training4climbing awesome, can't wait. I love your stuff!
I look forward to your videos! Always super helpful.
Glad you enjoyed!
Thanks for the video!
You bet!
Great video, very helpful!! Cant wait to incorporate these in my training days.
Great to hear!
Very nice examples for exercises. I will add these into my exercise bank. Was wondering if you guys were in town this up coming week because Spooky Nook needs strong forerunners for the friction fest while there setting all next week.
Awesome!
Thanks!
My girlfriend will be very happy that I’m training pecks!
Thanks for sharing Cameron!
you’ll be so good at hugging
Haha! Thanks for the appreciation.
Dang, you talk just like ya diddy.
LOL. I dunno, I think Cameron might have a little more bass in his voice. That said, no matter who's talking (or how he's doing it), as long as it's info that's going to make me a better climber, I'm all ears! 😊
haha!
Cool idea!! May I suggest anyone dealing with elbow pain should probably avoid it though... mine are hurting just thinking about it 😢
Isometric holds actually might help elbow pain.
you can vary the grip and distance to accomodate.
