Archaeologists now prove that the time of the Moses was of the New Kingdom of Egypt whereas that of Joseph was of the Old Kingdom of Egypt. The problem is the way the bible denotes the ruler of Egypt. Back in the old kingdom, the ruler was simply called as "King", the word "Pharaoh" was not used, "Pharaoh" came from the word "Peràa" which means "Great House" so the word back in the old kingdom was used in order to describe only the castle or any other great palace. It wasn't until the time of the New Kingdom (time of Moses) where the word "peràa" was used to describe the ruler of Egypt as Pharaoh. But the problem is that the Bible calls both the kings of the time of Joseph & Moses as "Pharaoh" which is inaccurate & wrong. The Qur'an however when speaking of the king of Egypt at the time of Joseph uses the word "King" which is correct whereas during the time of Moses, it uses the word "Pharaoh" If the Qur'an were a copy then why didn't it copy the errors of the Bible too? Why did it instead correct the Bible when it had no source to correct it from? That's because the Qur'an is the word of God & God knows every intricate detail of every single scenario in this universe. 2) The Bible says that during the time of Noah's flood, the entire Earth was flooded & covered in water. The archaeologists however have now found the time of Noah & it was between the 21st to the 22nd century B.C. & they have also discovered that during that time that not several cities but entire *dynasties* like 3rd dynasty of Babylon & 11th dynasty of Egypt were *still* present with zero records of flood & were uninterrupted & others in not just the other side of the globe but only at a mere quarter of the Earth away from Noah's resident land didn't have any records of flood during the 21st century B.C., there were even scorching deserts present during those times found to be much hotter than the ones we have today. The Qur'an however doesn't say that the entire Earth was covered in the flood. Now it does say in both books that all idolaters perished in the flood however we have to know that Noah was one of the early Prophets & humanity had not spread till the outskirts of the entire Earth so all idolaters perishing despite the entire Earth not being flooded is possible. 3) Let's continue speaking of Noah. His Ark, it was approximately 510 feet long says Mark Looey one of the biggest christian missionaries to provide answers for Genesis. However the length given by the Bible was 137.16 m, breadth was 26.7m & height was 13.716m. It also had 3 floors according to the Bible. In the international version, all the values are almost a multiple of 3 of these values. If you'd do their calculations then you'd know that the ark is 150,000 cubits & area wise 33,750 cubits & as there were 3 floors it makes 101,350 square feet. How can two of the millions of species of the whole Earth & all the followers of Noah be fit in such a small ship? It’s problematic. With the Qur’an on the other hand, again there is no concept of the whole Earth being flooded but only Noah’s people & so neither were the species exceeding the number, nor were the followers. 4) During the time of Joseph, the Bible says that merely around 80 people migrated to Egypt with him. Some 600 years later however when Moses took his people during the Exodus, the Bible says that there were atleast 2 million Israelites with him which is simply not possible in a span of merely 600 years especially not when those same people were subjected to inhumane slavery for 430 years. This is where the Qur’an comes into correct history, the people that left with Moses were but a handful which made the Pharaoh confident to hunt them down because the most the Pharaoh took were 20,000 soldiers during the Battle of Hittites. This further shows how absurd the biblical story is where no way would the Pharaoh with his mere in thousands army hunt down 2 MILLION people let alone enslave this amount in the first place. Is that why the Qur'an has a gazillion more details than the bible regarding the stories they share? 1)Basically when the historians discovered the city of Ancient Babylon, obviously a lot of idols of different gods & goddesses were found as the people in their entirity were pagan, however three tall statues were discovered & it was found that these were their main gods. Now these three statues of the gods represented the Sun, the Moon & Venus respectively. Is the Qur'an being plagiarised from the Bible the reason why the Qur'an corrects the errors & mistakes of the Bible?
1) If you were to read the story of Prophet Joseph in the Bible & the story of the Prophet Moses in the Bible then we know that Prophet Joseph came before Moses.
Archaeologists now prove that the time of the Moses was of the New Kingdom of Egypt whereas that of Joseph was of the Old Kingdom of Egypt.
The problem is the way the bible denotes the ruler of Egypt. Back in the old kingdom, the ruler was simply called as "King", the word "Pharaoh" was not used, "Pharaoh" came from the word "Peràa" which means "Great House" so the word back in the old kingdom was used in order to describe only the castle or any other great palace.
It wasn't until the time of the New Kingdom (time of Moses) where the word "peràa" was used to describe the ruler of Egypt as Pharaoh. But the problem is that the Bible calls both the kings of the time of Joseph & Moses as "Pharaoh" which is inaccurate & wrong.
The Qur'an however when speaking of the king of Egypt at the time of Joseph uses the word "King" which is correct whereas during the time of Moses, it uses the word "Pharaoh"
If the Qur'an were a copy then why didn't it copy the errors of the Bible too? Why did it instead correct the Bible when it had no source to correct it from? That's because the Qur'an is the word of God & God knows every intricate detail of every single scenario in this universe.
2) The Bible says that during the time of Noah's flood, the entire Earth was flooded & covered in water. The archaeologists however have now found the time of Noah & it was between the 21st to the 22nd century B.C. & they have also discovered that during that time that not several cities but entire *dynasties* like 3rd dynasty of Babylon & 11th dynasty of Egypt were *still* present with zero records of flood & were uninterrupted & others in not just the other side of the globe but only at a mere quarter of the Earth away from Noah's resident land didn't have any records of flood during the 21st century B.C., there were even scorching deserts present during those times found to be much hotter than the ones we have today.
The Qur'an however doesn't say that the entire Earth was covered in the flood. Now it does say in both books that all idolaters perished in the flood however we have to know that Noah was one of the early Prophets & humanity had not spread till the outskirts of the entire Earth so all idolaters perishing despite the entire Earth not being flooded is possible.
3) Let's continue speaking of Noah. His Ark, it was approximately 510 feet long says Mark Looey one of the biggest christian missionaries to provide answers for Genesis. However the length given by the Bible was 137.16 m, breadth was 26.7m & height was 13.716m. It also had 3 floors according to the Bible. In the international version, all the values are almost a multiple of 3 of these values. If you'd do their calculations then you'd know that the ark is 150,000 cubits & area wise 33,750 cubits & as there were 3 floors it makes 101,350 square feet. How can two of the millions of species of the whole Earth & all the followers of Noah be fit in such a small ship?
It’s problematic. With the Qur’an on the other hand, again there is no concept of the whole Earth being flooded but only Noah’s people & so neither were the species exceeding the number, nor were the followers.
4) During the time of Joseph, the Bible says that merely around 80 people migrated to Egypt with him.
Some 600 years later however when Moses took his people during the Exodus, the Bible says that there were atleast 2 million Israelites with him which is simply not possible in a span of merely 600 years especially not when those same people were subjected to inhumane slavery for 430 years.
This is where the Qur’an comes into correct history, the people that left with Moses were but a handful which made the Pharaoh confident to hunt them down because the most the Pharaoh took were 20,000 soldiers during the Battle of Hittites.
This further shows how absurd the biblical story is where no way would the Pharaoh with his mere in thousands army hunt down 2 MILLION people let alone enslave this amount in the first place.
Is that why the Qur'an has a gazillion more details than the bible regarding the stories they share?
1)Basically when the historians discovered the city of Ancient Babylon, obviously a lot of idols of different gods & goddesses were found as the people in their entirity were pagan, however three tall statues were discovered & it was found that these were their main gods.
Now these three statues of the gods represented the Sun, the Moon & Venus respectively. This detail however will not be found in *any of the Bible* none of the OT books or the NT books, it isn't mentioned anywhere.
The Qur'an however clearly says:
"And thus did We show Abraham the realm of the heavens and the earth that he would be among the certain [in faith]"
"So when the night covered him [with darkness], he saw a star. He said, “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said, “I like not those that disappear.”"
"And when he saw the moon rising, he said, “This is my lord.” But when it set, he said, “Unless my Lord guides me, I will surely be among the people gone astray.”"
"And when he saw the sun rising, he said, “This is my lord; this is greater.” But when it set, he said, “O my people, indeed I am free from what you associate with Allah."
"Indeed, I have turned my face toward He who created the heavens and the earth, inclining toward truth, and I am not of those who associate others with Allah.”"

We can see from this story how Abraham debated with his people, explaining to them the error of their way in worshipping false gods. We can see the Qur’an draws our attention to their worship of the Sun, Moon and a third idol. Note the details provided about the third idol:
When the night grew dark over him he saw a star and said, ‘This is my Lord,’ but when it set, he said, ‘I do not like things that disappear…’
The word translated here as “star” is the Arabic word “kawkab”, which carries the meaning of celestial object and can be used to refer to a star or planet. Notice the words of the verse, “I like not those that disappear”. The Qur’an tells us that at the onset of nightfall this celestial object appeared for only a brief amount of time.
Now this was discovered in present times so there's no way anyone can say that maybe the discovery was already made by the time of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
