0:30 they had to switch the letters up bc back in the days it was abc order and the key board was not very sturdy, people where typing to fast on it so it broke often so to prevent people from typing too fast they switch up the key board, now the new name of the new arrangement for the key board key is now named qwerty

Rearranging the keyboard wouldn't have only confused the dude, but it will also still have the same buttons underneath the keys that have the original letters. Therefore, he would try to press the "a" (the way he had arranged it) and it would be a "Q."
Dogs can actually be that smart and sneaky. My yorkie is an escape artist. He always finds a way to get out. He knows how to open his own kennel so I put one of those key hooks on it but ge still figured out how to undo it. Now Im having to put a lock on it. He also climbs gates, and squeezes his way through small openings. If he can't find a way around he just chews his way through.
Lol the swapping of the keyboard letters is infantile but also doesn't work unless they somehow moved the sensors underneath each letter on the motherboard on the keyboard as well

The reason the keyboard is how it is is because when typewriters were invented, they didn’t want frequently used letters to be next to each other or they could get stuck. So they spread the letters out, and the layout stuck. :)

Okay so I looked up the keyboard thing. So, typewriters had the letters most commonly used together spread apart to avoid the little keys, maybe buttons, whatever they’re called, from jamming. It was left that way when computers and stuff came out to not make production a hassle or to make production slower because of relearning key placement.

So the keyboard's receptors would still be programmed to type certain keys. All the guy did was give them incorrect labels.

So one time I was driving on a highway with some friends and there was a truck in the lane next to us carrying a ton of bricks in the back, and its back hatch flew open and all of the bricks flew out and smashed the windshield of the car behind them and almost decapitated another bystander. Then the guy had the nerves to get out of his truck and yell at the lady in the car behind him... Who was by the way unconscious. So yeah..

The letters are like that because when people used typewriters they would always make mistakes that you can’t get rid of. So they invented the “Qwerty” keyboard to slow them down. But now everyone’s used to it 😂

She was driving behind a truck that had TONS of bricks and the bricks weren't strapped in correctly so around 10 bricks flew out and thankfully my mom noticed so she swerved the car. If she didn't swerve the car, she would've been injured or possibly dead because when she swerved the car, the bricks hit the tires and the car itself. This is terrifying and my mom told me that she is glad that I wasn't in the car because I sit in the backseat and one of the bricks broke the window on the side in the back so I could've been terribly injured but I was at my grandma's house so thank god.

The keyboard letters are in this order cause if we go back into the time we had typewriters (yes i used translate for that) And the letters would get stuck into eachother so they figured a way to put the letters like this where the letters we use much are further away from eachother! And so it wouldn't happen a lot that it would get stuck again! And we just kept the order idk why haha

From what I remember, the order of the letter on the keyboard was not meant to slow typers down, but to keep the letters that are most often used together in words away from one another on the machine. This way the little rods with the letter wouldn't get jammed if the person typed really fast, and they didn't have to slow down to fix the typewriter
I AM ALSO TERRIFIED OF BEING BEHIND ANY VEHICLES CARRYING THINGS IN THEIR TRUCK BEDS/TRUNKS/TIED ONTO THEIR VEHICLES. THIS IS BC when I was about living in CA, when I was 7yo, I saw on the 5:00 news that a 12yo girl was in critical care but doing better AFTER BEING HELICOPTERED TO UCLA from a construction truck driving down the highway, & hitting a bump/pothole, causing a railroad spike to fly out of the bed of the truck, then flying thru the air, smashing thru the windshield, & impaling the girl sitting in the passenger seat!! She was pinned into the seat, the spike missing her heart by mm's, & they had to remove the whole vehicle passenger sat & carry the seat onto the ambulance, since the seatbelt & all was pinned to her chest, & removing her from the seat AT ALL was impossible without killing her!!! She made it but it traumatized me for life seeing that girl being given an IV of morphine then removing the sea eon the news!!! She looked both terrified and in pain!!

Nothing to really do with this subject, but the Danny Devito PowerPoint reminded me of kids in my 6th grade.
A few weeks before the end of the school year, a bunch of kids made this google slide presentation, and shared it with a few other kids that wanted to join in on this. The image for the slide was a “Shrek Devito” image. Everyone who had editing access (everyone who had it shared to them) was to duplicate the slide with the image. I was shared it too, and I was in on it lol. Last time I checked, it had over 10 000 slides 🤣

Where the plastic parts on the keyboard doesn't decide what the computer processes the buttons do. So if you typed an "A" on that keyboard it would still type a Q
You’re correct that the QWERTY. Keyboard was designed to make typists work slower because when the typewriter was invented, pressed keys were lowered to their rest position by gravity, not by some mechanical means. So the keys constantly jammed together. Slowing typists decreased the naming. You can buy keyboards designed for modern technology with letters in more efficient order but the QWERTY keyboard remains the standard.
