Yes, but they also take other cops less seriously when they criticize other cops. Just look at Den's firing panel where multiple senior officers called out high command for not firing him and instead trying to promote him. All of the cops that were apart of that panel who spoke up against Den have been ostracized in the department and passed over for promotions.

Ruby is to blame for this, instead of setting up officers in vantage point to counter act the potential attack she decided to make every office hide in the motorpool resulting in the wipe.
If anything she chose to abandon civilians as that is a public city hall with a disturbance and risk to life if some civilians walked in or nearby they was at risk
If she didn’t want to fight she should’ve had cops surround the building stopping anyone going in due to the danger

PD wipe should equal no charges or evidence collection. They need that W though. This server keeps getting worse; it has been steadily getting worse since I started watching back in 2.0. NoPixel staff will never learn. They want NoPixel to be a police simulator, so they can live out their dreams of having some type of power in their lives.

This is the actual problem. The ENTIRE government 'faction' which includes ALL of the city government characters as well as the entire PD (and then some), all seem to be so obsessed with maintaining their power and chasing the eternal 'W' that they will happily bend or break any amount of established rules, or just pretend they don't exist, whenever it suits them.
The real people to blame are Koil and Buddha letting everyone else get away with this. Anyone who's actually been watching all this, knows that Koil has been looking for a resolution to this whole, uhh, 'arc', for weeks if not months now, but just like 3.0 it's never going to be resolved IC when the entirety of one 'faction' that happens to be extremely corrupt and uncaring of the rules, also happens to be the side that MAKES AND ENFORCES said rules, so will never be punished for doing so (recall what Ruby did the second the crims took the garage; I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with 'Immediately mald and go OOC blatantly and repeatedly, that thing that reddit says CG does too much', and she will face zero punishment for this because she's a member of the PD/government). Too many admins like ssaab are way too comfortable just letting the status quo go on and watching the RP fly by (straight out the window over to Prodigy and Purple lmao) because for some reason they can't comprehend that in a game named after a literal crime, in which the entire point is to make money by committing crimes, criminals are supposed to, you know, commit crimes, and *gasps* get away with them.

This is the exact reason why cop mains shouldn't be the ones in high command. They need crim cops to do this because they understand the issues coming from the crims and know how to handle them better.
@@gamerboy2014 Yup, they should only put crim mains in high command, because crim mains are actually good at roleplaying the other side, and it doesn't make sense for high command to be patrolling the streets everyday anyway. The PD high command is too friendly with their officers, so they are afraid to fire the bad apples. They need crim mains clocking into a high command cop to handle training, general punishments and meetings. Having them RP as cadets is kinda pointless.
The funny part is that crims love RPing with cops that are played by crim mains, and those cops are often the most hostile and W chasing cops in the department. The difference is that they actually allow SBS to happen and don't just immediately jump towards punishing people for it, and once they get the W and arrest the criminal they actually RP with them in the cells and work with them by either letting them go if they don't feel comfortable pushing the charges, or dropping some charges/fine/time so they don't have to go to court.
Now I don't think those cops are perfect, most of those cops really hate doing paperwork and going to court. I think they should be doing their reports and being more willing to take cases to trial, because court RP should exist and be fun too. The problem atm though is that court RP was boring because the judge rulings made no sense, and they would be too restrictive on what points the lawyers could make.
This is just proof that what the criminals are asking for is possible to achieve by the police. There is a world where criminals can still be thrown in jail and serve their consequences without them getting mad about it. They just don't want to be treated like a mechanic and instead given the possibility to RP instead of cops pressing skip and forcing them to put their case on the docket to appeal, or being forced to serve harsh consequences because they technically did a crime while creating a fun RP situation.
We both know the pd would get wiped at city hall but so what it was to die with honour at city hall or like cowards cowering in mrpd they could've shown force bravery or at the very least instead fortified pd with barriers cars people on roof tops entrances built a fort and stand their ground for their department building the building that symbolises their integrity and strength im truly dissapointed in the pd's lack of reaction or how they handled the situation

I wonder if they are just going to remove the warrants. I feel like this is a broken record. Crims do something, PD gets told they aren't allowed to collect evidence/charge them, PD does it anyway, and then gets forced to remove it. Then their whole fan base complains about the criminals crying to get their way, when in reality they were told not to do it and did it anyway.

I think it's weird how they can get shot down and still be directly involved in the case, SHould be a rule if you get shot down you lose most memory, can give a very limited statement if any and cannot be involved in the case/situation going forward
@@ShmickoGaming I'm in the same boat, from what I've heard the criminals negotiated with the DOJ after the shootout to discuss governmental changes and to not be charged for it. Then for some reason at the start of the PD meeting, Angel told the cops that they could pursue charges. Then she failed again to properly explain how the voting would work and now the PD all think that felons can't vote when it seems like felons are allowed to vote their mayor into power or vote to remove them, but they aren't allowed to vote on proposed legislation changes. This would mean that they couldn't just get a gang friendly mayor to screw over the police.
This seems like a pretty good system of checks and balances imo, although not perfect. In this system the felons should be able to win the votes and have friendly mayors. However if a mayor goes rogue or gets sway, I think there is possibility of them proposing some really messed up legislation that screws over criminals which will probably pass due to the civs and PD being in charge of the vote. The Crims can kick that Mayor out, but then don't they seemingly have no recourse to remove that law? Angel said something about letting a crim vote on laws if they haven't had a felony in the last 30 days though, so that may be a good option for people to peacefully sway legislation votes. There is definitely some room to try and exploit this system but the other side has ways to seesaw the power back into their control.
I think this system should work pretty well especially since they are splitting into two governments. Worst case scenario, they just spend more time in the county that sucks the least. It should also lead to more interesting RP scenarios. Also if the criminals want to take the violent route then it is less disruptive to the server since they can target a specific city council or police department.
Pd are pretty clueless on many things, like laws and other things that ain't important to police work, like thinking critically and investigating

I still think its stupid that cops aren't charged money for getting DNA processed; lab work ain't cheap. Imagine if they actually had to investigate crimes instead of just waving a cotton swab and getting the answer. It's like casings; why can cops find casings at a scene but criminals can't pick up their brass? Why is there an automatic plate checker installed in every PD car instead of having to take the time to look up if a car is stolen or not?
All this free, easy tech has made the laziest police where no one investigates anything.
A lot of shit could be easily solved in character if the game just had mechanics to clean up scenes as a criminal. Give them Bleach, a mop, dustpan and a brush. If they secure a scene let them go around cleaning that shit up. Make a law that if a cop was shot and doesn't have physical evidence their statement is invalid. To counteract this mechanic, make it riskier for the criminals to do by allowing cops to charge criminals for felony obstruction of justice if they are seen carrying cleaning tools around a scene where a gun was shot, and the crims have to carry the tools in their hand or put them in their trunk. So if they are chased leaving the scene and cops arrest them or get them to ditch the car they can recover the evidence from the trunk.
I don't think removing the automatic plate checker makes sense. Instead the local cars should have variable timers on them to determine when the car gets reported stolen. If you steal a car from a local that is currently driving the car it automatically gets flagged stolen even if they are killed. If you steal a car that is park you get a grace period where it is not flagged stolen for like 2-4 hours. However if the PD pulls over a stolen car that hasn't been flagged yet, they can still confirm that it is stolen the old fashioned way by checking the drivers license and comparing that to the owner's name.

You know what's crazy? All of the cops who understand and didn't complain about the breach are the same cops your favorite crim streamer wants fired. Please make that make sense. Croc notoriously bad cop, Den massive fuckup cop, Maeve cop who goes to hard on evidence, jack horrid cop, forte spends more time off duty than on, viv super strict by the book. But you know what they all have in common? None of these "bad" cops complained once ooc, the ones who were awake for the breach, loved it and laughed through the whole thing. Not single ooc remark just rp and fun.
The crims pretty much only want Den fired because he abuses SOPs and mechanics, but even then they don't hate him. They enjoy shooting him and having beef with him because he doesn't get upset when people hit back.
Crims actually love Vivian because she is hard but fair and trustworthy (there was a court case a long time ago but they don't hold that against her anymore).
Maeve doesn't really talk much, and both her and Ryker have been coming around on being more crim friendly.
Idk much about Jack. Never heard a crim talk about him good or bad, I've only really seen other cops interact with him. I doubt they want him fired.
Crims don't really hate Forte, although they recently had IC beef with him due to how he acted at the one interview where he escalated the situation enticing a gang to shoot cops.
Whippy is actually really bad on his cop, but I think he is fairly new to recognizing how bad the current PD has been, because you need to remember that his crim is the shoot first ask questions later type of criminal. He had no reason to complain when PD arrested him in the past, and he would basically put himself into situations where he expected the cops to catch him. Only after hanging around CG has he been exposed to the other side of the coin. He doesn't really play his cop much though, so most crims probably don't care about occasional run ins with croc.
Also, bad cops are often bad because they don't fear death so its not really a surprise that they laughed off these situations since they know they just respawn.

The only thing the PD did effectively was poke the bear. After they got mauled they started crying then wondered why the bear bit them. It couldn't be that they were poking it the bear was doing this because it's aggressive.
The problem is that the PD think they are the bear in this analogy, and that the criminals are poking them, and that they have to respond.

They had all they needed to push for a massive court case, but they still did nothing about it after weeks and weeks. The DOJ and PD decided to block every RP they could (an example is Coyote played by Peppo, he was banned to do any investigation for this court case), even though everyone knew that the court case was never going to go in favor of those pushing the charges (probably a 10% win rate for the impeachment of Siobhan, and they had 0 hard and solid evidence on Max). They say they did it out of boredom, but I say the PD and DOJ did nothing because it's almost the end of Max and SIobhan term and they don't want to waste any of their time.
I hate this fake argument that people keep bringing up that : “there’s only X amount of time left in his term just deal with it. He’ll be gone soon”
But the problem is the inverse argument makes just as much sense: just kick Max out of office he only has two weeks left so it’s not that big of a deal.
People started to make these excuses when he had three months left. Like almost his full term. Like the same can be said for cops: don’t push charges against any of the criminals they’ll just get out tomorrow and do more crimes there’s no point.

I just hate people making fake arguments and perpetuating it as some sort of legitimate reason to just dismiss everything as whining when it’s a real world tactic that evil people use to manipulate people they see as less than, and they can ignore them because they’re not worthy of attention or their voice doesn’t matter.
The same excuse could be made for never arresting a criminal. “Come on! Just let them get away from the bank robbery. It’s not like anyone’s actually losing any money.”

this is not ooc, this is a cop trying to explain something since other cops just call it "they were bored" and dont seem to understand what caused it. Impeachment case gets dismissed and the judge just quits.. im not saying it IS corrupt, but to criminals/civilians that would look corrupt. its not hard to understand.

You're intentionally setting the PD up here to catch another L and you're perpetuating peoples anger/hate for the PD even more than it already was at the time and its going to incite more anger in the city and this shit is just going to continue, I really hope Angel can get these cops to straighten up with her new position being able to "review" and push charges on officers, but I have my doubts that's really going to change anything from what I've seen since the beginning of 4.0, but I hope to be proven wrong.
I can't remember who said this weeks ago, (might have been Mehdi, but idk tbh.) about the problem with there really not being a "end" to certain RP scenarios or arc's because of situations like this, it just keeps going in circles indefinitely, especially when it comes to people that where shot down or incapacitated then afterword being directly involved in either the investigation or pushing charges, this just festers anger between everybody involved, like with Max getting shot at the meeting, giving call outs while he was downed to arrest everyone, and then going to and immediately returning from the hospital to then stand over everyone's bodies while they where down and just shit talk them, then the situation that happened with Tuggz and the cop chick who got him arrested after she was incapacitated on the ground, its a cycle that doesn't really lead to a "end".
Plus the only reason they're able to collect any evidence and file these charges at all was because one cop was left alive at the end who hid in a trunk and Soze pretty much saved his life without knowing it, he stopped K before they blew up the the cop cars in the garage cause the dummy pouring gas, poured it on the cop bodies and not the cars, and Soze told K something along the lines of, "Don't stoop to their level, you guys should probably just get out of here." so K told everyone and they left and K went to the meeting with the DOJ about the future of the city and what's coming, it should have just ended right there, for that one day crims finally got to show the PD how they feel a majority of the time, Ruby can complain about there being 50+ people but in reality I've seen cops rolling 6 cars deep with two cops per car for one car fleeing cause it was "speeding" with a single occupant in it, and they still ended up death pitting tf outta the car to make the guy eject, and there was never any interference vehicles, and that's taken as a common cop W at this point in their eyes, nothing ever gets said about that shit and when it does it legit falls on deaf ears and blind eye's and nothing ever get's done about it.
Also Soze was standing right next to K a majority of the time they where both at the court house and then MRPD, if there was ever really a problem with what was going on Koil would have told K flat out to tell everyone to stop, and K respects him enough to listen to him and he would have stopped immediately, but he didn't, K also spoke to Lang and he agreed to come as well,
(I'm not sure if Lang knew how many people where going to be there, as he never showed up in Sandy nor at the court house or PD, but he was around and knew at least something big was going to happen, so he also could have told K to stop if there was ever any mention of it being a problem OOC after it started.)
So why Ruby decided to bring up the more than 6 thing really felt like it was just her malding out after they failed to take the garage next to the court house when they convoyed up there, and then just decided to say screw the RP and went back to stay in the motor pool of MRPD while the whole force stood around and circle jerked one another while they "attempted negotiations" and even said they could "just buy another court house, we're rich" and didn't have to respond.
Conan (Ramee) had the most reasonable argument out of any cop on duty as to why they should push the court house, and even tried to give them a plan to do it.
(Was it a good plan? No, but it was at least something better than sitting in a circle doing nothing? Yes.)
But again cause it was Conan saying this he just got shit talked by Ruby the entire time and told to shut up, "you're a cadet". Literally its the city court house and there are armed people inside that are actively shooting people and occupying the building, in any IRL situation it doesn't matter if the police are out numbered or not, they're at least going to respond to the shots fired call and try to at least set up some sort of perimeter around the building, (at least where I live.) there was no reason every single cop should have been circled up in the MRPD motor pool just avoiding the RP completely, that's literally what the server is there for, its a RP content server, do some actual RP content, if you get shot down, surprise!!! You don't actually die, its a video game, at most you lose your gear if you even get robbed and then your back up, at least your not spending 10 IRL hours in prison staring at a wall and pushing E on shit.... plus its not like everyone on duty's not still making $3400 an hour with most cops bragging about having millions in their bank accounts, oh and I really can't wait for the class 2's now, let's see how that turns out, cops really gunna be loot piñata's now forreal.
Sorry for the long ass rant and again this is all just my personal opinion, I've been watching since 2.0, I love NP, I love the civs, crims and cops, but this braindead behavior gotta stop, I thought roleplay > ruleplay was a thing for a reason, people can't keep taking all this so seriously and getting so lost in the sauce all the time.

There is no protecting happening. No one cares about the times and fines. They can play other characters or other games, they don't care. What the criminal streamers do care about is the storylines, and the fact that cops are refusing to RP with them by pressing skip just to get the W and then doing lame stuff to make sure they don't ever lose the W. They are abusing their power to force arrests and give the criminals no way to fight the charges in the cells or the courts. Criminals just want to be punished for the things they deserve to be punished for.
