I have known the String Swing guys for over 15 years, and have used their products in NAMM displays, and in my office at Truetone. Recently, Ask Zac Central started looking like a Telecaster dump, and I thought I should get some floor stands to clean things up. Days after I thought this, they reached out to me offering some of their stands and asking for a video in return. Here is how @stringswinginc helped me clean up my studio.

I am old, old player and in the market to organize my simple 1 bed apartment in order to re-enter my TH-cam content efforts. For me... who you do not know, to see any TH-cam creator show (as good as you) the "set-up" is a highest privilege occasion. This is super helpful. I have what amounts to significant difficulty organizing and controlling clutter. "Lifelong" stuff Zac. Really, really. so, my 70th year will be spent honoring the courage you exhibit in sharing your work, knowledge and wisdom with all of us. I need to get organized. I have guitars everywhere. Desk is a mess. Book shelves are packed. Might be time to decide what stays and what goes. I needed this video.

Thanks for the video Zac! I'm currently in the process of organizing my practice room. I've found that when the place is cluttered, I don't even want to go in the room as it's stressful to be around disorder. When it's clean & organized I'm eager to pick up my guitar and play. Funny how that works, eh? Maybe it has something to do with being over 50 LOL! String Swing even supplies the glue-- that's surprising, but very cool!
Hey what’s that LP doing in there with all those Tele’s? Now the Dan Electro I get as it’s a take of sort of a Tele! And one that I would love to have myself! 😮Its a flavor I love just haven’t been able to find the right one as of yet! The LP you’ve got looks like a really nice one, love the burst on it! Just haven’t had a chance to catch you playing it in any of your videos yet. Thanks for the video. Some ideas for my spare room I’m converting to a practice space. Your not the only one with lego in your room. I have the Lego Stratocaster and Princeton Reverb in my room.

I like Hercules hangers over String Swing. I have 6 on the walls in my bedroom lol. I have to keep mine out because I'm known to play all 6 throughout the day quite often. Before it was 6, I played them all pretty much every day. 👌

Cool solutions. Any worries about resting the weight of the vintage Teles on the necks? I've generally favored stands that brace against the body to avoid neck pressure.
They are good on it.
I still use mine, but I did have the rubber react with the finish of a Mexican nitro T style. Just been making sure to put a cotton cloth down on the one. YMMV

@AskZac I’m from indiana but my ex wife and I used to come down to Nashville about once a month to listen to music and such. It would have been from 2003 to about 2006, I met a picker named Rodney Griffin, he played at tootsie’s with a band a lot of times I was there, but he was friends with Randal curry, I believe paisley’s steel player and I wondered if you happen to remember Rodney or ever met him, and i have always wondered what ever happened with him. He had a white Tele, I remember that. He was an excellent picker, could play any Jerry Reed you wanted, but he was very humble and just a really good guy. Thanks!

@@AskZac that is too cool! He was just one of the people I met and took time to sit and talk to me about trying to make it in Nashville. I hope he is doing well. I used to have a demo cd he sent me with a few songs but it was stolen with all my other stuff that was in my truck at the time. Luther Lewis was another picker I remember from that time frame, Rodney actually turned me on to him. Some great times, but I was always ready to come home to indiana after a few days. Come home and try to wash the sin off lol

You will have to do a video on the last instrument you pointed out that you said was a conversion. It has peaked my couriousity. When i saw the profile I thought parlor guitar then I thought resonator when I saw a tiny glimps of the sound board....

It's something String Swing made for Truetone 15 years ago. It is welded steel. They only made 2.

Looks great! I recently put my acoustics on the wall with hangers, then made a framed picture behind them using a country real book so it looks like a pile of sheet music.

Sorry mines worse. I have 13 guitars, including a mandolin and a 6 string Ukulele and a stainless steel resonator guitar. I just bought the "Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up" by Marie Kondo, in order to get my life in order. good luck!
