This movie dubbed into Malayalam and released in 27 centres all over Kerala in the name of HEY HERO, and ran more than 225 days in all centres. There was lathicharge in every centres for controlling the crowd pulling for getting tickets in Calicut, Kochin, Kannur, Palakkad and Thrivunananthapuram; it was a main headlines of newspapers on that time.
