I was looking forward to blue angels this year but I didn't get to go because it rained. I'm watching online since we cancelled big time. I saw thunder birds last year at least. All the money went in the trash because they decide to rain on the day we suppose to go.
You missed out. My wife and I always go to Hofbräuhaus to eat during the airshow. When the Blue Angels are there, we eat before they fly, then go to the lakeshore to watch them. When the Thunderchickens are there, we will go to the lakeshore to view the show before they are on. When they fly, we will go to eat at Hofbräuhaus.

I went (recently) to the Columbus Airshow since it returned after 16+ years and even though the Blue Angels are supposed to be all on the west coast, they performed their only east coast performance in Columbus from June 16-18! On to Cleveland in September to catch the Thunderbirds!!!!

we went to this today and only got to see like 3 planes fly. They taxied the blue angels then cancelled the show...so disappointed
