이번 앨범을 만들면서 지금까지 했던 경험들을 바탕으로 필모그래피를 쓴다는 마음으로 만들었다고 했던 것 같은데 그래서 그런가 마음에 너무 와닿는다. 뭔가 다양한 감정이 느껴지는데 아리기도하고 아프기도 하고 슬프고 울컥하면서 반대로 포근하고 따듯하고 위로가 되는 양가감정이 느껴졌다. 처음에는 모든 트랙의 곡을 트랙 순서에 맞게 들어보고 나중에는 타이틀만 듣다가 지금은 수록곡만 듣고 있는데 가장 많이 든 생각은 어느 한편의 뮤지컬 속 배우들의 연기와 함께 나오는 넘버 같다는 생각이 들었다. 스토리 속 주인공은 김원필이라는 사람이고 우리는 그 사람이 느낀 것들을 노래로 듣는 그런 느낌이 들었다. 돌려서 우회적, 추상적으로 표현하는게 아닌 직설적이고 사실적이지만 부드러운 스토리가 너무 좋아서 이게 바로 김원필이란 뮤지션의 힘이구나 라는 생각이 들었다. 뮤지션의 노력이 들어간 앨범을 아무것도 아닌 한 팬이 왈가왈부 할 수는 없지만 수많은 마이데이 중 한명으로서 김원필이라는 따듯한 사람을 만나게 되어 노래로 그 사람을 들여다 볼 수 있다는 것이 그리고 따듯한 사람을 좋아할 수 있다는게 정말 자랑스럽다는 생각이 든다. 오빠 많이 고맙고 노래로 위로해줘서 또 고마워요

이번 앨범을 만들면서
지금까지 했던 경험들을 바탕으로
필모그래피를 쓴다는 마음으로
만들었다고 했던 것 같은데
그래서 그런가 마음에 너무 와닿는다.
뭔가 다양한 감정이 느껴지는데
아리기도하고 아프기도 하고
슬프고 울컥하면서
반대로 포근하고 따듯하고 위로가 되는
양가감정이 느껴졌다.
