I have a 1979 Fender Quad Reverb I use. I bought it from my bandmate and good buddy who wanted to keep it in the family. Years ago, he had the amp cut off from the speakers because we always had issues with the speakers (and it was just a bear to travel around with) but the amp was a thing of beauty. So now it is a "Quad Reverb head." I love it.
I’m shocked, SHOCKED, that this is the first time I’m seeing/hearing about girth units. I request all the old videos be redone with girth units added for all dirt pedals and amplifiers.
This is off topic but I wanted to comment on the newest vid for visibility and just thank you Josh for all you’ve taught me about pedals, I’m getting so much more use out of my gear and I really want to try some mods before I acquire any new gear. Wish me luck!
I see you have many Dan-O pedals....So do I...I even kept in my gigbag what I call the BRICK...It's the violet colored DanEcho...At 72 years young you never know when you'll need a weapon !! I am a customer...I still use and really like my unicorn..People are always asking what I use to get that sound..Also three vibe pedals before the Unicorn you did a excellent job with my ugly greenish Dan-O vibe pedal...It was so good I had you do two...Thanks again and like always you guys are AMAZING !!!
I badly want someone to model my beloved Fender Machete. It’s becoming a little too valuable to gig with, but nothing even comes close. Twin reverb cleans, Mesa style lead channel, huge volume, huge range of sounds. So, so underrated.
This may be my 3rd or 4th comment expressing my nostalgia for the first season of this show but you brought it up re: brown face…. So I feel ok about it. Film one intro from your car for old times.
5:05 I died. Comedy gold moment. Also, can the Meticulously obsessing over small details no one should care about t-shirt be re-issued in analogue form again? I tried the JHS profile on your website and it doesn't fit me. In black, please. Thanks.
Love that Bluesmaker. It's sounds a bit more Vox than Fender to me, at least when dirty. But that's how I like it; dirty dog. I like the Super Reverb too, maybe more than I like thinner sounding Fender's like Deluxe Reverbs.
Woo. They sound very nice. I would like a large room and a large amp first, so that I can get past wanting to play a large amp in a large room, and then, after that, I would like a computer simulation of all the cool amps that I can't buy or lift or use at home. I'm not asking you, JHS Pedals. I'm asking the universe.
Hey Josh! I just purchased a 66 Fender Vibro Champ that used to be yours. It had a work order in the back from 2012 with your name on it. I thought that was pretty cool! Anything you can tell me about this amp?
@@martianmurrayahaha, I think they sound great, sad thing is there is not enough for everyone to have or experience, especially those classic 1950s-1960's Fenders and Gibson's, $50,000-$100,000, I can't wait for the day that Kemper makes a simple plugin that sounds fantastic lol
JOSH!!!! When are you going to let us buy JHS Pedals in the Helix?????? I want a sweet-tea in my Line 6 Helix because its my FAVORITE DIRT PEDAL EVER!!!
I think I know where the Super Reverb is but when I dialed the number it was guy a who kept asking me to measure my girth....Weird but he insisted it was necessary to find the amp.
Hi guys! I downloaded the free profile to test it with my HX Stomp. As I tried to load it into the Stomp I got an error message: 8701 - Preset translation not supported, dsp block constraint exceeded. After researching a bit I found out that probably the profile was made for the Helix and isn't compatible with the Stomp as currently available. Did I do something wrong? Am I missing something? Thank you in advance for your help :)
Nope. I assume he's found some settings that sound like the amps he's referring to, probably along with a dedicated impulse response? He definitely should have spent another 20 seconds explaining how this pack works for Helix devices before expecting people to pay for it.
How can you have a "Big American Amp Pack" without a Peavey, forget the 5150, would be awesome if ya'll did a profile of an older Peavey (Century, VTX Series, VTM, etc)
Having owned a 65 Showman, the profile is a lot better. I only was able to get my Showman up to 5 outdoors and even then it was too loud and barely breaking up. But a Showman is a Twin Reverb without the reverb and as a head only... shouldn't really sound any different... both are great clean platforms but have to be insanely loud to get breakup... Bandmaster has a smaller OT than a Bassman, so less girthy...
Have I solved the mystery? Steve Ridinger designed the Danelectro D1 FAB Distortion in 2005. The only FAB pedal that is NOT a clone. _____Or to put it another way buy one for $30 before they are $300 by tomorrow.
No Line6 Spider, hard pass

OMG...That little hands outro busted me up ... I was laughing so hard....Great video... got me thinking of doing some amp profiling.
"We didn't profile the faceplate." What a missed opportunity!
jhs sucks
That's ok. I'm sure they can cash in on their Faceplate profile pedal v1-4
Everyone knows the faceplate is where the tone is made. Pity.
@@bartondudlick9019 I know, right? It says TONE right there on it.

Since the classic Xmas show I'm down. AND THE MUSICAL WAS CLASSIC you are the man. No bobo!
This channel is comedy gold...plus awesome guitar gear nerdery
Tonex pack would be great!
+1
Especially with the ToneX one out. More people are going to have that than a Helix or a Kemper. At like what? The price of two cups of coffee? 😉
Yes please. Tally up another vote for this JHS

Amalgam Audio has Machette profiles for ToneX. Maybe QC and NAM too. Check them out.

i was just watching the old delay video today for a new video project we're working on. good times.
Hands down to ‘Big Man with Little Hands’. This is my favorite JHS song so far!
Need to get on that TONEX train. While the capture process is more intensive - more accurate and better price point and larger echo system.
Josh: -“Im gonna be alright.”
*”He won’t be.”* 😂
The Blues Maker with delay is like every the Edge guitar sound ever all coming out of a single amp at the same time.

Sovtek Amp Pack!
Hmmmmmm...we'll think about it
@@jhspedalsplease! That would be amazing

"The girth units are strong with this one." - Josh Scott
JHS should make a line of speakers, so that people can mix and match speakers in their cabs for different tones
I called that number and I got something else. I’m keeping the amp. The Twin for the Win!!
Bruh the morning glory makes everything sound beautiful…. The morning glory is literally the greatest overdrive I know of 🤣🤣🤣

Dog Man sounds great. Glad to see it in there.
Would love to have a Tonex pack!
"How many Sovtek amps do you need?"
Josh: Yes.
I would love to hear that twelve-string Tele on a future video.
This guitar is my favorite guitar of all youtube time!
Close second for me.
Brett Papa's beat up shell pink strat is number one.
Johnny Mac #3 was magical! TONEX, perhaps?

Does the pack comes with snapshots for HX Stomp equivalent to different inputs for the same amplifier?
You guys should do profiles of crappy starter amps we all probably used. Like the Gorilla, Crate, Fender Frontman, Peavey Decade.
ToneX captures please! 💯
Thanks so much for the $500k Klon!
So what do you get with the Helix version? Just presets and some IRs?
Can somebody please tell the name of the background track at 6:00-6:07? Love it very much!

Will these packs ever be available on Neural Amp Modeler (NAM)?

When are you doing a DOD amp profile pack? That's what I need.
When does the faceplate pack drop?

i totally missed the “fooled you with a kemper” reveal, when did that happen!?
Garth and more garth, what are you doing Josh ?
How do these things work
Can these be used with the ACS1?
Two episodes in a row with no record time.
Would this be available with the pod go?
The Helix/HX patches and IRs should work fine in Pod Go
Take my money.
Okay
Please publish the girth matrix and include the 5F11.
What was that electronics book at 45 seconds in?
Can you profile a Tony Bruno Cowtipper Amp?
That would make me buy a kemper.

Any chance of making this for the Pod Go?
Those cheap totinos party pizza destroy ever other frozen pizza in my opinion. Crispy, thin, and not too heavy. Plus, it’s perfect for one person.
So... I'm unclear about this... do you include Direct/Hybrid profiles for those of us playing through guitar cabs?
no sorry!
All the shelves. Is Josh a new strings guy or an old strings guy? Dogman could be AC/DC sound.
What cabs/speaker models are you running these through, though?
The amps speaker that was mic'd when the Profile was made.
No need to use IRs with the Kemper, you can but the Kemper cabinets sound better, IMO
ToneX?

What happened to record time?
Tonex pls
It’s happening… they are already flipping these profiles on Reverb for $682.
Is there anyway you can use these with a vst? Or non kemper / helix?
This pack is specifically designed for Kemper and Helix platforms only. VST is a little different
@@jhspedalsAnother reason to do ToneX captures. It's a pedal and a plugin.
