Its a shame how underused she and bede are as characters, i get they cant spotlight everyone but even just a few more interactions wouldve made this game so much better

Having Marnie become your main rival/friend halfway through the game as Hop realizes he just cant compete with you and Leon ala like May/Brendan and Wally in the Hoenn games woulda been great
Also, more development for Hop would’ve been great, the sort of depression he goes into after losing to bede had a lot of potential, and having an older brother who completely overshadows him, I feel that game freak could’ve put more effort into his character
no, there isnt anything wrong with extending and enriching the story of an rpg of this caliber and i really think a spotlight/arc on each character wouldve been great story/endgame content hop dealt with the expectations and standards set by leon marnie wants to uphold the legacy of both her brother's conventional views and the people of spikemuth bede struggles to conform with self identity, purpose, and worth after abandonment so much material to work with here, GF

This just made me realize that as much as I wasn't a big fan of swsh compared to other games I still have tons of nostalgia for it, mostly because of the music
I think I'm actually more of a pokemon spinoff fan, rumble blast was my first game and I loved the first two mystery dungeon games, never beat super or played gates though, and I'm currently very hooked on unite But that said my nostalgia for omega ruby, ultra moon, and shield are quite powerful Edit: totally forgot about shuffle! That game was nice when it first came out but I got bored in a few months, came back years later and had a whole lotta fun, stayed hooked for the whole 6 month event rotation before putting it down. I even got battle frozen because I enjoyed shuffle so much and that game's really cool too Oh and the gameboy trading card video game... I played that some and it's neat I guess
A good rule of thumb for going through TH-cam notifications is to always end with branflakes. Because your going to be clicking that repeat button so many times that you will forget about the other ones.

That is some masterful chiptune vibrato. It actually syncs up incredibly well with how the original sounds for those parts, while also giving it its own chiptune flair. Mad, mad props.
The cheering translated to percussion really well, I think! Also, I always thought the bridge contained an extra note at 0:38, but listening to the original song I realize I must've misheard the melody.
