What The Forza Horizon 5 Intro Screen Should've Been

- Hey guys! Quick project I wanted to make. Personally the FH5 intro screen doesn't give me the feels the same way the other games did, so I decided to create my own version of it! Hope y'all enjoy!

yea how’d you get that shot with the mclarens top actively dropping down ? in game it just goes to a black screen for a half second every time you drop the top or put it back up
Actually, has to do with the rewind glitch I made a video on. Unfortunately they recently patched it…
Quick note too (and I’ll post on this hopefully soon) I’m attempting to recreate this video so it can be made into a mod! Struggling to find a way to recreate this shot, and unfortunately I think it can’t be done in the game w/out mods… truly a shame…
I’m sad to say this, but FH5 made me feel that it’s distant from the other ones. As several others said, it seems like it wasn’t so focused on the racing like how FH1,2, and 3, were. The way you’ve made this, sparked that excitement of the original FH that I had before. I’ve watched your 10th anniversary commemoration video and it was superb! You seriously have exceptional skills with video editing! I truly feel that Turn10 and Playground Games would have an amazing asset to their team, if you were included! Please continue what you are doing with your passion and please go beyond the boundaries of yourself to push forward and take a chance to apply to them! I’m being serious @Experienced Noob !
Dude, thank you for the words! I’ve been playing Horizon since it’s origins and it does truly feel like it’s lost the atmosphere from the older titles. I do my best to bring that feel back in the videos I make, so glad they’re coming across like that!
Wasn't as focused on racing as 1, 2 and 3 and wasn't as focused on the "pick a car, any car" as 4
That feeling of bittersweet nostalgia that made the first three great, which was diminished in Horizon 4, is completely gone in 5.

You have such great talent, maybe the people at Turn 10 and Playground Games will notice it, and who knows, if they do, you'll be part of the next Forza Horizon in one way or another... Such talent should be recognized by the world.
I feel like this would be the intro if FH2 was made today. You got everything, the camera going around then up, the slight angles every time the scene changes, even a modded Evo X. Absolutely stunning.
That’s exactly what I was going for! Took direct inspiration from FH1, 2, and 3! The main screen on FH5 just feels passionless personally.
If you had the ability, I think the icing on the cake would have been to add people/friends chilling around the cars like in FH 1, where you'd see people pulled over on the side of the road just chilling and looking over the mountains. That would have completely cemented the atmosphere.

Absolutely would’ve if I could’ve. Unfortunately, I run an unmodded version, and there isn’t really much I could do with that idea in the vanilla game

This is so damn good man. Far superior than the actual one, it fits wat better with the whole spirit of Horizon Festival in general. However, in my opinion, the actual intro kinda fits the game, it's more about the location and other stuff rather than about cars. Sadly, FH5 feels more like a sandbox that happens to have cars in it than an actual car game.
Definitely agree. Personally wish they focused more on the cars, but the direction of the game has broadened as of recent.
I prefer the sandbox approach, actually, because Forza hasn’t really seemed to have anything that makes it unique from other racing game series, other than the huge car list, which was what Gran turismo did ages ago.

@@windowsxpdude What do you mean? You have TONS of things to do. the Festival Playlist, Horizon Stories, game modes like The Eliminator, King, infected, etc., Horizon Super 7, Horizon Arcade, the Event Lab, Racing PVP, Horizon Tour, and The Auction House.
@@PlanetThrill festival playlist is so repetitive, horizon stories eventually finish, dont get me started on how much you disconnect on online, super 7 is dead, same with arcade, event lab is good i admit, racing pvp is alright and no big deal on auction house.

The first forza I've played was FH4. But I watched gameplay of the previous ones because I didn't have an Xbox. Even I feel nostalgic.

Honestly. The one in the game already, this one and a plethora of other interesting ideas wouldn't hurt for any game that has an intro screen. The more plus the one we already have the merrier. Anyone else agree?
Personally I’d be down if you could pick previous title screens used (like in 10th anniversary, or now this update 24 screen). Just the lack of options, not the mention the work going into those videos going to waste quickly, when they were really good.

Am currently making the jump from Top 2% to top 1% and I gotta say this gave me all the inspiration I need to keep going. The nostalgia! This edit goes so hard. This blew my mf mind. 10 STARS!!!!!🤘🏻
The Amg one looks so like the fh3 lambo intro lol, but I like it as well as the rest of the video, and it is way better than the current intro in every way, it’s immersive and it makes me want to play the game, and I like the song, sure it doesn’t fit the Mexican tone, but it reminds me of fh3 and is even better than the fh5 song, a 9.2/10 amazing job!
And since when did FH3, FH2 have songs that match the landscape in which it takes place?... the introduction of the new Forza only came that way because they wanted to match and show the landscape of the map, since in time that it was being marketed, it was being sold practically as a new gen game... honestly fh5 is just not considered new gen because they managed to bring it to the xOne I think... I hate the style that the new FHs are coming (as much as it's a pity there have been 2 games since fh3)... the introduction on the start screen of FH4 and FH5 doesn't make you want to play

Because this introduction brings back the old atmosphere of the start screens of the old FHs... the music, the scenery and the camera movement, it brings everything that the old FHs had... it feels like Forza Horizon got lost in its path of being a festival of cars and music in the summer... I don't know how to explain it, I just know that this intro that this guy did is fire because it brings the feeling of the old fhs (fh1, fh2, fh3)

I liked it but it would be better if you saw some the cars drive on like a road surrounded by a good view.
I certainly felt the emotion in this. Which I did not feel in the actual intro screen. This gave me so much nostalgia for the other Horizon games.

Honestly this made me shed a tear because it reminds me so much of how Horizon 3 trailer used to be which is sick. The one with the sand dune porche just showed the resemblance you got from forza 3 Home Screen. Good work 🥹😭

I understand that FH5 has a beautiful map. But at the end of the day we play because our passion in cars and the landscape doesn’t need to be the main focus. Great job on the intro screen, it brings back the same feeling which older Horizon games brought that we all know and love. Awesome job.

I wonder, do you use photo mode glitch, or drone? Because on some shot, it looks like photo mode, but some also seems a bit shaky like a camera being hold, which I think a drone would do
It’s all photo mode glitch! Drone I find to be too excessive and harder to be specific with. I used photo mode and then overlayed the shake effect from previous game titled actually. Bit over-complicated, but I think it makes it look way better.

This i far more superior than the original. With the backdrop and especially the music choice. The og one made me feel like im john Marston riding a horse down to Mexico to catch Javier. Not a car festival game. Lol
I think this intro should have had at least 4 or 5 more cars, plus Porter Robinson-Look at the sky, as a little homage to fh1, plus it just fits more, none the less, it still so damn good...

Yeah, I think with the way they took the game (less of a festival atmosphere, more towards the country heritage) Encanto fits. That’s just not the style I’m used to from Forza, as with lots of people.

All photo mode! There’s a glitch where you can move around in photo mode with the environment still playing, so basically that.
I noticed that you said you took direct inspiration from older games. But being completely honest, this is even better than any of the intros you took inspiration from. Like dude, keep up the good work! Also did you make this in game or in blender? Cause this is incredible.

woooow but you did it perfectly I'm a huge fan of the franchise forza horizon of all parts but the most probably 1,2,3 parts, tomorrow I will start creating forza horizon 1 remastered I know it's a lot of work and law but there are a lot of people like me where they are waiting for this part refreshed and nothing else, secondly, I would like them to make a Forzy Horizon movie something like fast and furious only even better. @@jeff_fa_fa4976 Yes i just played today forza horizon 1 beta build from june 1, 2012 it's super cool there were gas stations instead of horizon stops where we could refuel the car really great idea but unfortunately the studio gave up and removed it which is a pity because forza would be even more realistic and better much better than nfs or the crew, not to mention the test drive
