Idk if that’s because I’ve done laser hair removal before and that was actually painful, but for me this device is 99% painless. I know each person is different, but I have to say, don’t be afraid to use level 6, it won’t hurt or burn you. Try a few flashes on lower levels so you can get familiar and that’s it. And yes, permanent hair removal can be considered the best decision/ investment in your life. I did my armpits 11 years ago and still happy as hell with the results and soft skin under my arms 😊
I’m black and level 1 hurt … I have a high pain tolerance and I had to grit my teeth using this thing on my armpits which are darker than other areas of my body. Getting a tattoo was more comfortable than using this device 🥹🤣
Miss Darian, you are a Godsend!!! I've been working hard for months to afford products for my health and overall self-improvement journey. I have PCOS, and it has caused me grief for years with the unnecessary, often excessive hair. I have also grown increasingly uncomfortable going to a salon to help me remove inaccessible hairs under my chin. Knowing that there was a product out there for us melanated girls is a lifesaver. I appreciate this in-depth review. When I do purchase this product, I will go back to your first one so I know how to use it properly. Thank you so much.
@@BlackGirlLovesAnime6 there wasn’t a test. I had a lot of symptoms point towards the diagnosis and I talked through it with my OBGYN. My symptoms include but are not exclusive to excessive hair growth or growth in places there shouldn’t be, painful periods and long breaks in my cycle overall. A lot of women have chin hairs but unfortunately tweezing individual hairs isn’t enough because I basically grow a short beard every month 😕
I'm so happy to hear that! I really hope this helps! It has been one of the best decisions I have made! I decided to try IPL because I was tired of hair removal, so I know the struggle! 💜
I did Laser five years ago. I did my Face/Neck, Armpits, and Legs. I didn't like financing options at the time but the results were great for about a year and a half give or take but it was thin hairs. FYI if you have PCOs results may vary because hormones and blood flow are major factors laser and electrolysis are both preferred options but you will need to find ways to optimize your hormones for better results. Anyways, then I looked into getting IPL deceive simply because of the cost and flexibility. I have a similar device by LUX SKIN Australia which was a cheaper option than the RoseSkinInc's OG device at the time. Another device to consider is the Silk'n was designed for darker skin tones and I would love to try that next once the device reaches its 10 years of use lifespan.
I was told by the woman who does my electrolysis that I couldn’t use my normal skin care. How did you heal the dark scars on your face? Do you recommend any products that I can use while I’m getting my face done? Thanks

Hello I just came across your channel you said we have to shave every time before we use it. Does it have to be with the razors with the blade 🪒 or can we use the electric you have to charge?
Can you touch more on kp? I have kp. Me being a lighter skin tone, my kp really shows up. Did it get rid of/improve the discoloration circles that comes with kp? Thank you for the video! I need this for my legs because I never go outside with shorts. It’s my biggest insecurity
I haven't made it up to 4 successfully. I feel like it stings too much and it would eventually leave burns whenever I use 4, so I always go back down to 3.
@@Loa.Dreamer Update: I did an experiment last night and found that my legs were very mildly burned. In the morning the red marks basically disappeared but for some reason level 4 didn’t burn my bikini (darkest part), upper lip, nor armpits. I know it has been a while since you posted, but I hope you reply. First, all your IPL videos are extremely good, you won a subscriber. So my question is: you mentioned the machine should not me used in dark spots or tattoos, I have some scaring or spots or marks because I was quite clumsy as a child so I have some marks. Will IPL affect them?
Hello! I’ve watched a few of your videos on IPL at home. I see about 3 years ago you also reviewed the lux IPL, which is much more affordable than this one, but I wanted to get your opinion of which you liked the best. Or are the results about the same? I appreciate your help
I have used the RoseSkin Co. one longer. I think the quality is really good, it has lasted for a long time, and the results are amazing! I hope this helps!
Thanks love your genuine and professional presentation. Have you heard anything about the Braun in comparison? It is more expensive but they are a great brand. Thanks! ❤

@@sexycouture1same here. Struggling with the braun ipl. It's so expensive and non returnable on Amazon. I'm so disappointed. I bought it for my pcos induced facial hair and it doesn't work there. It depends on your longtime goals. I wanted to be hairless, so I love doing the IPL. But waxing is still a great alternative as well! It lessens hair growth over time as well.

I appreciate the information in this video. I appreciate you taking the time ☺️ One question, after doing a session should I moisturize thoroughly afterwards? Also how long should I wait before I try this device on my upper lip area?

Technically IPL isn’t good for darker skin tones because the melanin on your skin is more sensitive than the melanin that in your hair so the laser will target the skin with will cause discoloration or burns just use with caution
I wish people would talk about how well it does or does not work on course body hair. For people who have PCOS or are Perimenopausal. Seems very expensive and cumbersome because you still have to shave before hand. It's kind of redundant.
I agree. I have coarse hair in certain areas and it has been working pretty well for me (though I don’t have PCOS or anything). I thought it would be a bit of a hassle To have to shave first as well, but the more you use it, the hair grows in thinner and finer and the less you have to shave. So it ended up not being a big deal for me. Hope this helps!
